Terri, I live in Kenton and was wondering if you know where on S. Main St. Jacob lived? Address or approximate location. Thanks.

Jacob Wilson Parrott
Hi, Terri. I found the following online, and wondered if this might relate to the Congressional Medal of Honor recipient Jacob Parrott:

an 1850 census for Salt Lick Twp, Perry Co, OH that lists Jacob Parret, 7, with siblings Marion, Aurilla, and Harvey. Head of household was Paul Cummins (b 1794) and wife Ann Cummins (born 1815).

I then found a marriage record (FamilySearch) for Paul Cummings and Ann Parrott, 21 Oct 1847, Fairfield County, OH. If this date is correct, then this was at least the second marriage for Mr. Cummings, who has a 13-year old child in the 1850 census. I wonder if this was the second marriage for Ann- making her Ann Landfair Parrot Cummings?
