|Arabelle||RE: Charles Mintz|
Thank you kindly for posting the obituary and for accepting the links to his parents. Yes, the obituary has his mother's name, but since she preceded him in death, this isn't a privacy violation. :) No need for the transfer. I appreciate you creating his memorial and maintaining it so well. Best wishes to you, and thanks again! :)

There is a death certificate in the Cullman County, Alabama Records that states that Mrs. Moses Watts died 23 Sep 1894 at the age of 44 years of age. The cause of death is listed as PHTHISIS and also states that she was buried at Holly Pond. The attending Physician is Dr. H.E. Watts.
(Note: Dr. H E WATTS was Henderson Edwin WATTS, son of George Wesley WATTS, bro to Moses).
You stated the 1877 death date was inaccurate....
The 1877 date listed on that marker you so kindly posted for me was actually her marriage date. Jane enumerated on the 1880 census, thus, I knew(!) she didn't die 1877.
Are you related to this family?
|J. Spaulding||Memorial# 82699947 Robert Alonzo WATTS|
You posted an absolutely fantastic PICTURE on the memorial for Robert Alonzo WATTS (Memorial# 82699947), naming each of his ancestors back to Jacob b. 1785, including Alonzo's mother Nancy "Jane" BURTON.
As there was never a grave marker placed for Jane where she is buried at Holly Pond Cemetery in Cullman County, I wanted to ask if you would consider posting that SAME picture listing Jane Burton on the Memorial# 136097811 for her please?
Know I appreciate your consideration.

Thank You so much for retaking photos of her headstone. That was very kind of you. I will copy
them and send them to relatives and I'm sure
they will appreciate you also. Yes, I would appreciate you to transfer her and her babies
to me. Cornelia's husband was Luther Dee Hammett
they has thirteen children- three sets of twins.
After she died; he remarried and had seven more children-one set of twins. I know who all the
second family were; but only a few of the first.
Again, Thank You.
Please vote Al Brown Famous 134974505 .Thank you

Thank You for putting Cornelia A. Hammett
and her babies: Delia and Neelia on Find A Grave. Our
family knew she was buried in Talladega,
but did not know where. She was my grandfather's

I saw you wanted to get in touch with other family of George W. Finley. I'm his great grand-daughter, his son James Paris was my Grandpa. I'd love to share what photos and info on the Finley family I have with you.
Just a thought I'd like to share with you. Many years ago the newspaper sent a reporter to our home to take a picture of a newcomer to the community because we were having a party to welcome her here. She was not a celebrity, so we were surprised they bothered. Something like that may have been done to create the Hobbs multi-generational photo. If that be the case, the newspaper's archives department would have the original photo on file, probably on microfiche. Some newspapers let folks order a copy of old photos, so it would be worth a phone call to the Birmingham News to find out. If you do call or email them, I'd be interested in knowing what you find out about it.
