|I'm a great grandson of a Civil War veteran. I found my great grandfathers listing on find a grave. I contacted the contributer and mentioned that there was some inaccuracies in the bio. She emailed me back and fixed the problems and offered to transfer the site to me. I was hooked and have been adding graves of relatives and Civil War veterans.|

|Beverly G. Kirby-McDonough||Clarissa Jones Bosenbery|
I found a will for Clarissa Jones Bosenbery at the Hunterdon County Surrogate's Court at Flemington, NJ. The will belongs to "Clara Johnson" of Stanton, NJ, who died on Christmas Day of 1907. She names a son, David M. Bosenbery; a daughter, (Ann) Augusta Abel; and a grand-daughter Clara Perkins.
This Ann Augusta Abel was the wife of Enoch Abel, Jr. Her maiden name was Lisk. Enoch and Ann had six children and ended up residing in Jersey City, NJ.
Clarissa must have been a remarkable woman. She was widowed four times, and lived to age 91. Next time I visit the NJ Archives, I'll get a copy of her death record that will indicate her place of burial. I will also get a copy of her will. More to follow.

After the death of Abraham Bosenbery, Clarissa remarried to Alexander Lisk, who was many years her senior. It seems that Clarissa married TWICE again - to Henry Pickel, and then to Peter A. Johnson. Indeed, this is very unusual and very interesting.
If you would like to correspondence with me on this matter, please contact me directly at firstname.lastname@example.org

Richard - The family in Bloomsbury spelled their surname "Bosenbary". I made a few entries to Bloomsbury Cemetery on Find-A-Grave, and included photographs and a couple obituaries that I found online.
Most recently, there was the death of Russell W. Bosenbary in 2010, and Virginia Mae Bosenbary Houston in 2009.
If you need any help with your family tree, just let me know. I live in Hunterdon County, and I'm very familiar with genealogical resources nearby. I make occasional trips to the NJ State Archives in Trenton. It would be very interesting to learn whether the brothers, David or Holloway, left wills in Hunterdon County.
Hi Rich, I was happy to transfer your grandfather's memorial over to you. If you find any others that I have posted in this area, please let me know. I have no problem transferring any over to you. I've photographed many stones in this area.
Enjoy Findagrave, it's one of my favorite genealogy sites.
