My hobby is genealogy. I enjoy walking the cemeteries and taking photos of stones and to help others see their ancestors and loved ones stones.|
I would be happy to transfer, to your care, any of my non-family memorials to anyone who finds that I have entered one of their ancestors/relatives.
If there are any changes or corrections you'd like to make to any of these memorials or if you'd like a transfer, please use the edit tab.

Your contributions for Hover Hoyne and Dorothea Lien Hoyne from 2012 are duplicates of mine from 2010. Will you please remove.
Also, there seems to be some discrepancy on the cemetery - Dorothea's obituary lists Graceland Cemetery, but you have them listed under North Round Prairie Cemetery.
These are relatives are mine - are you related?
I am stumped! One of my ancestors born Aug 16,132
who died December 17, 1915 by the name of Dorothea Gunnarsdatter (Lien) Hoyne who passed away near Albert Le, MN. appears to be buried in two locations!
I find it VERY HARD to believe that there were two women, born and died the same days, same name having married me with the same name in the same location! If you have any enlightening information on this, please advise!

|Reidar Jacobsen Holt||RE: Cornelius Arneson|
First of all I want to send you a big THANK YOU, for finally tracking down all the information on Cornelius Arneson(Karelius Arnesen), that we have been searching for over several years whit no luck. We still don’t know very much about the rest of his family, so if you’re not busy now a day, and wanted to, we would really appreciate if you had some, or would be able to track down any information on some of his cousins.
I would've added some pictures, but I don't think that is possible here, so if you're interested I'll give you my email so I could send you the pictures that we found looking through old papers and documents on the farm. The pictures are taken by photographer Helgeson at Lake Mills, Iowa. We’re not quite sure who it is, but we have a slight indication that it might be someone from the family. Do you have any idea if there is any archive, or other people that could figure out who they are or where they’re from?
|Jon Purcell||Grave Registration Record|
Hi - my name is Jon Purcell. I am an avid indexer and have been indexing Iowa State Grave Registration records. I uploaded a registration for a Harry F Thompson (Mem. No. 8374687). This record contains additional information such as dates of birth & death, and the names of additional spouses and children. I hope that is okay.

I finally got down my list and read this post. I went in and accepted all the edits. DUH! I feel like such a dummy!
Sorry I've not been as involved this year. My wife had a number of hospitalizations, then we took a midsummer vacation to her home, and when we returned, she suffered a stroke and died. So, dealing with that - and with the 9-yr-old granddaughter who lives with me - has put me off the pace.
Now that I know, I'll try to do better! Thanks for your help!
Thank you so much for the great Photos you took of the Groe headstones. I appreciate all you did for me and also thank you for your volunteer work for Find A Grave
