You're very welcome, Tony! Glad to be able to help.

You said there may be a Bryant family grave yard long forgotten in the woods. This reminds me of the Who Do You Think You Are episode on Tony Goldwyn who plays the President on Scandal. He found his many times great grandfather's tombstone in the woods. However, the staff on the show helped him locate the grave. Is there anyone in Richmond County who knows where to locate old, old family grave yards?
|Bonnie Bell||RE: Winnie Haydon Bryant|
Thanks, Tony. I think I will let all those Bryants rest in peace.

Since you are a Bryant who posted the grave of Luid Monroe Bryant, who was the last child of Winnie and Rawleigh Bryant, I have a question for you. Do you know when Winnie Bryant died and where she and Rawleigh are buried. Is there a family grave yard for the Bryants in Richmond County? There are so many in my Haydon family that I can't find, so they must have been buried in a family plot.

Tony, that agrees with my research... that John Williams was the original owner of Montpelier. It is said that John Williams had no children of his own. He married Agnes Bullock Keeling (or Kittrell) widow of George Keeling/Kittrell. Agnes had several children by George Keeling/Kittrell, the last of which was Agatha. But there seems to be a problem about Agatha’s bio father - since John called Agatha his own child – maybe he adopted her. Agatha married Robert Burton. John Williams left Montpelier to his wife Agnes Bullock Keeling/Kittrell) Williams until her death and then since he had no children of his own, to Agatha and Robert Burton. Since John Williams had no children, it rather makes sense that there are no Williams but John buried there, and are mostly Burtons.
What I find most weird or confusing is that there appears to be no grave marker for John Williams OR his beloved wife Agnes Bullock...? They surely were buried at Montpelier! John has a Find A Grave 'famous' memorial but has no grave marker photo and one cannot be requested for some reason. I would think that Agnes is buried with John but she has no Find A Grave memorial, either in the Burton or Williams Find A Grave cemetery. Do you know anything about their graves? Do you know of any cemetery listings that show who are buried at Montpelier?

Tony, I notice that you made several memorials with photos in the Burton Family Cemetery (Montpelier Estate) in Henderson, Vance County NC in April 2010. In April of this year someone made another cemetery named Williams Family Cemetery with duplicate memorials of most of those in the Burton cemetery (with no photos). These two cemeteries need to be merged BUT I can't find the correct name for it. Do you happen to remember OR do you have a photo of the cemetery name sign?
To avoid confusion and other duplicate cemeteries I thought it might be named Montpelier Estate Williams-Burton Family Cemetery but I don't know the official name or even if it has an official name... the Vance County Genealogy Society doesn't have this cemetery on its list by any of these names. I have asked them about it but have not received a reply. I also have informed the person who made the duplicate cemetery in April of this year but they have not replied either.
I would appreciate any suggestions you might have about this?

Hey Tony - I'm in contact with David Reavis - I'll reach out to him as he might know where the other cemetery is located and who owns the property and all. It's been several years since I have been up there and I doubt I knew about the "Renn" connection when I was there - so I may not have any pictures of them.
I see a transfer from you to me for a few of these graves. The curious thing is, after much searching I found out that my GreatGrandfather's tombstone has the wrong month for his death (confirmed by obit and death certificate) - lot of people apparently haven't caught that error.
George A Perdue worked for the Reavis family back in his day on the farm as the 'foreman/supervisor' - took me a while to figure out why he was at this location.
Thanks again - I'll see if David can help me on the other cemetery.

Hi, Are you related to any of the people in the family cemetery? George A Perdue and Bell Perdue are my great-grandparents. I came across the death certificate for Elenor Frances Vaughan Renn and it states that she was buried in this cemetery as well, but I don't see her listed here. I am not certain yet who her husband is, but Elenor? (not sure of spelling) is the sister of Bell Thomas Perdue.
Thanks Tony. This is a hard one to trace. Maybe we will find out later. If I find out anything, will get back to you also.

Do you know who the parents are of Millard Filmore Wilkins wife, Geraldine ?
I am thinking she is sister to Booker Bryant's wife.
