Born/raised in Mer Rouge, Louisiana. Lived in Southern California for 30 years and have now returned to Morehouse Parish. Since I was little, I've been facinated by the 1922 cold case of Filmore Watt Daniel/Thomas Fletcher Richard. Their deaths/aftermath helped prevent the growth of the KKK in the 20's.|
I'm happy to share what KKK info I have with anyone else. From the Family History Club, I have:
"The Murders of Mer Rouge" by John Rogers
"The 20th Century KKK in Morehouse Parish" by Alton Earl Ingram.
"The Black Hood of the KKK" - Prof. James M. Ruiz
The Family History Club has given me copies of the newspaper clippings collected by Tott Davenport.
I have been documenting the families of Sisson, Harp, Daniel, Yeldell, Evans, Cheshire, Arant, Sims, Humphrey(s), Laing, Rainwater & Bowe. PLUS I dabble in several others.
I have a copy of Thomas Young "T.Y." Harp's "My Kinfolk: An Account of the Harps, Masoners, Runyons, Whitlocks, Flinns, Greens and Roberts." I'll happily send copies to anyone who wants one.
I am working with the Family History Club's publications, "Known Burials of Morehouse Parish" - Vol 1 & 2. I will happily transfer any of my FAG sites to family and friends of loved ones. You may use any pictures I've taken or posted.
I have started adding information to various FAG sites from Rebecca DeArmond-Huskey's "Bartholomew's Song" - many family histories are contained within it. I also believe that this book started Morehouse Parish people cleaning up the bayou. I highly recommend this book to you.
I have finished scanning the book "Men & Women in WWII from Lincoln, Morehouse and Union Parishes". I'm taking the pictures and the military info and adding it to the memorials I find. Let me know if I post something in error - or if I can share any of these scans with you.
THANK YOU to Larry Freeman who has provided more than 3500 pictures for me to post. Larry! You are a jewel!!!!

Bonnie, thanks for adding the marriage information. I think Dock was just a nickname for Fred. Please re-link to him. I have sent other information and links to your personal bio page to be approved. They are on the edit tab on your page. I really appreciate your willingness to help, Ann

|Farrar and related families||An unfortunate mess up, confusion cuz of same names.|
I apologize as there is confusion on too many Farrars with the same name and even duplicate memorials for this group. Your photos have greatly helped in weaving through this bunch. I am wondering if you would be ok with deleting the two photos that you have posted to the memorial #54253750. These are on the memorial of the small child. You may have realized this. I reposted your photos onto the memorial of the father, the stones were his gravestones. I have noted you as photographer. I hope this is ok.
Thanks for providing the additinal information for him. Have blessed New Year, KL

|Carolyn Heath Sisk||James M (M.L.) Moore memorial|
I found info you posted for James M.L. Moore on the findagrave website. ML was my Uncle, he was my dad's half-brother. My grandmother, Alice Beatrice Copeland was married to Barney Andrew Moore, ML's dad. She later married my granddad Leonard C Heath Sr and they had 3 kids: Lena Heath Emanuel, Betty Katherine Heath Graves, and my dad Leonard C Heath Jr. All of them were ML's half-siblings. I sent a correction to findagrave for ML's parents. You submitted Lorraine and Leonard Heath Sr as his parents. Leonard C Heath Sr was his stepdad, Lorraine was Leonard Sr's second wife....no relation to ML.
I see that you posted a military picture of Uncle ML to the findagrave website. His daughter Maggie, my cousin, has no pictures of her parents. Do you have any more pictures of either ML or his second wife, Lilly? Lilly was my cousin's mother. She would love to have copies if you do.
Thank you for posting the memorial on findagrave and I look forward to hearing from you soon!
I can be contacted at email@example.com

I'm not sure what you meant by me "referencing YOUR memorial for Baynard Cheshire". Did I do something wrong? I don't know anything about this family, but I just transferred Annie's memorial to you.
|Janice Rice||RE: Captain Jack Sisson|
