Oh wow cuz,
Quick response. I notice we are negihbors also. I live in Spokane wa. Out of the 15 children they had to my knowledge there was only one grandson to hold up the Irons name and that was my dad Norman Irons. I only had one child of my own and three step children. I had a girl, so when I am gone the name dies. Kind of sad but I am to old to go there. lol. Sixty five years old is a little late to start a new family.
I look foward to more info if you have it as I have just got started on this.

I started a search for my ancestors and I saw where you left flowers on my great grandmothers memoral, Leila Hopkins Irons, who had 15 children and married Lyman Remington Irons at the age of 15. One of their siblings was Frank who was my grandfather. Any info you may have to assist me in going back furthur in this search would be greatly appreciated. I know her parants were Ashael Hopkins and Mary Ann Durfee, but after that I have ran out of info.
Thanks for your help cuz or whatever

I will try again once we have a thaw. I think I saw a trace of another name under Conrad's. If I can get the rest of the dirt and leaves off the stone, I'll be able to tell you.
Email me if you still have family in RI. I would be happy to show them where I found the stone so that it doesn't get "lost" again.

It took three tries, but I finally found the stone for your gr grandfather. The stone was covered over and with the frozen ground I wasn't able to clear all of the debris. I will go back once the ground thaws and clean it up so I can get a better picture for you.
