I have been doing genealogy for the last fifteen years. The main names I am researching are Abernathy, Coley, Higgins, Howell, Knight, Ledford, Roach, Moss, Whitmore, and Williams.|
My other hobby is photography. I take photos of everything from cemeteries to concerts.
If you see any of my photos that are very tiny (ie. the size of a postage stamp), please let me know. Several years ago, the Find A Grave website had a weird glitch that made dozens and dozens of my photos the size of a thumbnail pic. I did not upload these tiny pictures. If you will let me know, I can hopefully replace them with a normal size picture.
Please note that I don't have editorial control over memorials that are listed as famous. If changes or corrections need to be made, please contact the Find A Grave admins.
I have created a website dedicated to my family cemetery, the Old Macedonia Cemetery of Bartow County. You can find it by following the link below.
And please be aware that just because I have taken a cemetery photo, it does not mean that I operate the cemetery or have anything to do with the cemetery. I only took a photograph.
Any photos that were taken by me may be used on genealogy websites such as ancestry.com. You have my permission. All I ask is that I am given photography credit.

Hello again.... a voice from the past.
Do you mind removing the photo of the cemetery that you place on findagrave 98314526.
Have just found a photo of Ida I would like to add to her memorial.
Appreciate all you do!

|Mr & Mrs||James Cemetery|
You have posted photos of James Cemetery in Pickens Co., GA. I am hoping to find this cemetery in couple of weeks, hoping you can tell me where it is, and if it will be possible to get to this time of year.

I am making a trip to GA, was wondering if you can give me direction to the James Cemetery n Pickens Co. that you have photographed. Is it where you can get to it, or a problem visiting it??

|Betsy Fay-Saxon||James William "Bill" Wheeler|
and Willis Cass Tucker. eveningblue: I see that you have taken many fine photos of tombstones at Wheeler Cemetery Hickory Flat. I am trying to find the location to the Wheeler Cemetery at Union Hill, which is probably very near by, but much smaller. On findagrave.com Wheeler Cemetery Union Hill has a picture of the Wheeler Cemetery Hickory Flat by mistake. Apparently when looked up on the web, both cemeteries have the same gps location but are actually different cemeteries. Do you have any idea of where the smaller Wheeler family cemetery is or have any pictures of it? I am assuming that it is on the property that once belonged to the James William Wheeler family. His wife died in 1922 and she is also buried at the small cemetery. I would be most appreciative of any advice you can give. firstname.lastname@example.org

I see you have 1860 for birth, headstone says 1850. I know it makes him over a hundred.
Did you want you keep the 1860 for birth?
Just was wondering. Let me know.

Are you researching John Calhoun Masters? If so, his parents are not William and Temperance Masters. There were 2 John Masters in the 1850 census (on the same page). He is listed as John C. Mastres (misspelled) and his parents are John and Edy Mastres (Masters). His daughter Margaret lists his parents on his death certificate as well. They are listed as John Masters and Edith Sawyers. There is copy of the death certificate in Ancestry so I did eyeball this!
The John Masters listed under William and Temperance Masters was 14 in 1850 which would put his birth year around 1836.
