The "Angel of Grief" can be found in Rome at Campo Cestio. It marks the grave of Emelyn Story #18029441

Junior genealogist - with an email address, a car and a digital camera.

Photos I take belong to the people who ask for them. You are free to do whatever you wish to with them. I ask that they not be published on pay-to-view sites.

I pay a lot of attention to the sun and try to avoid reflecting myself in any photo. That means that at times I take photos at odd angles. I will visit any given headstone a number of times trying to get the right light on it. Sometimes that doesn't work out and I file a crappy photo - when you see such a photo, please tell me to go take a better one.

I want to thank everyone who has stepped up and offered corrections or taken transfers for the cemeteries I've been working, it's been a rewarding experience.

I am in the process of visiting all of Danvers cemeteries and ensuring they are fully catalogued. I am only posting fresh photos when I think mine are better or show something different. If you object, drop me a line and we can chat.

----

I do take breaks and handle occasional photo requests - if you have a location, that makes it a lot more tempting. It's a challenge to walk a large cemetery looking for two headstones and then have 4 more requests for the same cemetery a week later.
