|Butch Burel||RE: LYNN FARNUM HS PHOTO|
Hi, returning the apologies. I haven't checked my messages in so long I've lost track of what I did.
Best O' luck,
I sent you an e-mail.
Have a truly blessed day!
|Selma Hamlin||RE: f.a.g. memorial|
Unfortunately the listed email was hacked and AOL blocked me out. I changed it today. As for not answering, I have not been on the website in quite sometime.
Sorry you are so offended. It was never my intention to ignore or offend anyone.
I am not the only person on this website who documents graves of people they do not know. If I see a grave that is undocumented, I will add the person in case anyone is looking for them.
|Linda T||RE: GLYNN FAMILY IN MILLINGTON MCH|
I HAVE REMOVED THE 4 GLYNN LISTINGS THAT YOU REQUESTED. I APPARENTLY PUT THEM IN THE WRONG CEMETERY BY MISTAKE. I AM SORRY THAT I OFFENDED YOU BY DOING THIS. IT WAS NOT DONE ON PURPOSE. I WAS WORKING OFF OF NOTES I MADE DURING MY TRIP TO MICHIGAN IN 2011. I PHOTOGRAPHED ANY AND ALL HEADSTONES THAT MIGHT HAVE BEEN RELATED IN SOME WAY, BUT, OF COURSE, NOT ALL WERE GOING TO BE. JUST THOUGHT THAT I MIGHT BE HELPING SOMEONE.

I rather think the HS may be correct. Although the DC says birth was in Jan. 1872, it also says - in error - that her age was 54 years. If youf accept the 1872 birth year, then her age at death should be 55 years. With one error on DC there are likely two. Maybe husband was not sure of birth year when he had to supply the information in short order.
Age on ALL census returns are fairly consistent with 1874 being birth year.
1880 - 6 years of age
1900 - b. Jan. 1874
1910 - 36 years
1920 - 45 years
Have you thought how old Eliza's mother would have been if Eliza was born in 1872 - almost too young!
She is your ancestor but I believe I would put my vote on the tombstone as it is overwhelmingly consistent with the above details.

Thank you for the information. I called the cemetery and put the information on the memorial sites. It is below as well for your convenience.
Esposito, Frances and Joseph: Section 48, Shrine. Lot 33B, graves 3 and 4. Markers are flat ground markers.
Viviano, Rose: American Saints Mauesoleum, crypt 211, tier A.

|Phantom Plot Picster||RE: DAVID & RUTH FARNUM'S HEADSTONE PHOTO|
Hi - Your very welcome. I wanted to post the pics so you could see them but the light today was the worst and I could not get a good shot. I will retake and re-post the pics next chance I have.
-Mary - oh and I did take many stone shots(mostly poor) and they were also posted on billiongraves with GPS. It may be a while before they are transcribed and they were placed at Fairview Cemetery which is nearby by mistake. I mention it because as you may know there are many Farnum's there.

Hi Pat, I do apologize for the top of the grave shot, it was very sunny that day, sometimes I remember and umbrella, sometimes not., otherwise I think the stone shots turned out well and very legible. The stone is in good shape, there are no individual stones for each person just the one...cheers...DC
