Find A Grave
Hi Ruth, At one time I used find a grave to help me deal with the suicide of my boyfriend, Patrick, who passed in 1995. Now I go visit the Poole family. Seven members of the Poole family died in a fire on Aug. 16th, 2008. I go there to see if any flowers have been left for them. The mother passed along with 4 of her children, her great niece and great nephew. Mom left behind 4 children and a twin sistet. Im organizing a series of fundraisers for them. The oldest boy who passed in the fire was 18. He saved his pregnant girlfriend before going back inside for his mom and siblings. He never made it out but thanks to him his son will be born in November. Since my boyfriend died in 1995 Im very prone to depression (which also runs in my family) and I was so devestated by the loss these surviving kids are dealing with. This tragedy happened in my city. A five minute drive from my house. Please pray for these kids left behind and if you get a minute leave them a note. If you want to read about the Poole family google Darius Poole, Memphis TN. He is a 16 year old junior and his face haunts me. He is the first and last thought on my mind everyday. If you have any fundraising suggestions please share. Thank you.

Broken Heart
I read your note to Ms. Jones. I hope you don't mind. I know that it is hard to understand God's plan and frankly at times our hearts are so broken all we care about is getting out of pain. All I can say is that your broken heart WILL mend. Of course it will still have cracks and it will never be the same. Maybe you will have to help a mother in need some day. A mother who does not believe that her life will ever be worth living again. You can and will make the difference in a life that needs you. YOU WILL BE ABLE TO TELL THIS MOTHER FROM YOUR OWN EXPERIENCE THAT SHE WILL FIND BRIGHTER DAYS AHEAD. Iam not a mother so I cannot comprehend your pain BUT I AM A DAUGHTER. As a daughter I can say if I die tomorrow I want my mom find a way to be happy again. I want her to process the loss and still find a way to smile when she thinks of me. The bond between a mother and her child can NEVER be broken. It is OK to smile again and to be happy. You know that is what she wants, what I would want for my mom too. Please be patient with yourself and in time you can find happiness again. YOU KNOW THATS WHAT SHE WANTS FOR YOU! You are in my prayers and so many others.

Great to hear from you - and feel free to talk to me anytime. Yes, that's my daughter, Savannah. She will be 3 2 days after Christmas. And thanks, she is a doll.

It sounds like you are living your purpose by all you are doing to help others. Your daughter is very proud I am sure. Keep it up and know that God doesn't give us more than we can handle. You are stronger than you think. I'll keep you in my prayers and again - email me anytime ( or just message on here.
Take care:)

Try to know that your daughter served her purpose or else God would not have wanted her by his side so soon. You still have a reason for being here even if it's hard to see. I can not know your pain because I have not been through it, but my heart aches for you. I am praying for you to feel comfort in knowing that you will be with your baby again when God has planned for it. God Bless you!

Oak Grove Cemetery Photo
My bride of 30 years is in Oak Grove Cemetery. I took that gate photo and posted it on the Cemetery page August 2, 2007. I believe it shows on all memorials in Oak Grove, unless you request it NOT be there. Every Cemetery main page has or eventually will have a photo of their front gate. You too can post a photo of any cemetery by going to the main page of the cemetery and click on "Add a photo of this cemetery" That is How I added it. I have since spent my days trying to help others that want photos of their loved one's headstone. It brings peace to my heart and hopefully to those that click "Request A Photo". That is why you see Volunteer Photos Taken count.
Please accept my condolences and my prayers.
