Thank you very much for not only finding the unmarked grave, but the newspaper article as well! This is funny because my mom is from West Bend, WI and this Hendershot relative is my dad's family. My dad is from PA and some of his relatives moved to IL in the late 1800's and this branch moved to WI. We had no knowledge that my dad had family in WI. Do you happen to remember if the stones behind that patch of grass were Hendershots? Thanks again, Jessica

I haven't been to the cemetery yet; I looked her up on Ancestry and "borrowed" the picture. I will be going out to the cemetery next week (going to a conference this weekend or would do it then) and will get all the information I can. If it's unmarked, I will take a photo of the spot; I add flowers so that it doesn't just look like a patch of grass.
Thanks for the note,
|Erika Davies||Thank you|
Thank you for taking the time to go to the cemetery and find the tombstones of my ancestors. I really appreciate the photos that you uploaded to Find a Grave. Thank you! Erika Davies

I want to thank you for the splendid photo trio you uploaded to the Simon Katchkey memorial to fulfill a photo request. They are clear and level and bring out the details and I could not ask for anything more! When I come across a veteran's memorial without photos, I always want to ask for a photo, to honor them. Thanks, again!!

Thank you so much Marlin for fulfilling my photo request for Gottlieb Hermann II's gravesite. He is my great grandfather and my family had no idea that he did not have a headstone in place. Thank you so much!

Thanks Merlin for the information on the Blancks.
|Sarah Gruwell||Herbert Horstbrink and Essweins|
Thank you so much for the photo of Herbert's headstone. And what a treat to see the rest of the Essweins as well! I was unaware they were buried in that cemetery. George and Margaretha Esswein were my direct g-g-g grandparents, me being descended from their eldest son, George F., who was 3 when the family emigrated from Germany in 1854. Again what a treat to see their headstones! Thank you so much for getting those photos and adding them to the cemetery!
|Kari Olson||More about Birges|
Marlin, that was so nice of you to make the additional Birge memorials AND the links too! Thanks so much...I really appreciate you going the extra mile!
