Bio and Links
Bio Photo I love genealogy. I love finding my ancestors and it's especially fun to come in contact with relatives (near or distant in relation) who are also researching the family lines. I love walking through cemeteries and wondering about the people who the headstones represent. I especially like the old headstones because they have so much character.

I live far away from my Southern family, but the desire to know them is always there.

Martha Pott Fisher
Hello Robin:
Can you help me solve a mystery here in Cape Girardeau, Mo. ? yesterday I was taking pictures of graves in Section 1 of New Lorimier Cemetery and took a picture of Martha Pott Fisher (1869-1924) and next to her grave was H.A. Pott (1841-1906). I assume that was her father? The problem is he is not listed on the official records for New Lorimer, which are on line now and a tremendous help). Would you know where Henry A. Pott is actually buried. There is a record of Henry Pott for Mt. Olive Cemetery in St. Louis County - would this be the same person? I am sending you this message because you placed a memorial for Martha Pott Fisher and I thought you might be related. Thanks for your help - my goal is take pictures of all graves at New Lorimier which will take about a year. But like you said, I love genealogy and so many people have helped me with my family.

RE: Julia Goodson
Hello Robin,

No problem, I understand totally...

I just noticed that you hadn't made any family links on the memorials. Would you please link the family members I send to you after you've had a chance to review them with your tree?

Thanks again,

Dear Robin,
When I was looking for the cemetery for Osbert De Hawking, I kept putting the wrong information in the search box. By accident, I found the cemetery of St. Michael the Archangel in Hawkinge, Kent, England, so now I have him in the proper cemetery. You had put flowers on his memorial, so I am letting you know that I am deleting it, and I am inviting you to visit the new upgraded memorial to him and leave your flowers.
