Is there a grave marker for Thomas Kiscaden, husband of Louisa Fidler Kiscaden> He was born in 1812 & died in 1867. I under stand that he is buried in a different cemetery, his Find A Grave # is: 5003424. Thanks for checking on this.

I believe we have a duplicate of the above name, didn't catch it until I printed both Find A Grave pages & realized I had "two" with different numbers. They are - 5003424 & 44193589. Louisa Fidler was indeed his wife and the mother of 13 children! Her Find A Grave # is" 5005937. Let me know when you get these combined.

Thanks for your help,

We have been in touch before (2012). My project about the temporary American GELA Cemetery in Sicily is finally finished.

I have put all information on my DVD "They stayed behind".

Over 1,200 young American men and women [killed in Sicily] were buried here between July 1943 and April 1947.

The DVD is now available

Pvt Earl W. Wissman was a soldier of the 13th Armed Infantry Regiment 1st Armored Division. He was killed in Sicily on 12 July 1943.

His body was never found and his name is listed on the Wall of Missing of the Sicily Rome Cemetery in Nettuno (Italy).

If his remains would have been recovered, he would have been buried in the temporary GELA cemetery in Sicily.

I am writing a book about the GELA cemetery, where over 1,200 men and women were buried between 1943 and 1947. Hope to finished the book next year July 2013.

One chapter of the book will deal about those whose remains were never accounted for.

Can I have your permission to use the picture you took of the remembrance marker in my book, of course you will be credited and notified when the book is finished.

thank you
