I began to assemble a family tree in an effort to learn more about my predecessors, to find out more about who they were, what they did, where they lived and what became of them when they passed on. This project led me to Findagrave and thanks to other Findagrave members I was able to learn where many of my relatives were buried and see their markers. As family members are scattered around the country it is difficult if not impossible to visit them all. As a way to pay back the kindness of those members taking photos for our family, I began taking photographs of headstones for others and creating memorials. It has become an interesting and relaxing hobby. If I have created a memorial page for a relative of yours and you would like it transferred to your care just let me know. Also, please keep in mind when you request a photo that many cemeteries are large and not well marked. Without information about the plot location the plots can be time consuming to find. Try to contact the cemetery by mail or phone and obtain any info. about the plot location to help myself and other Findagrave volunteers find your loved ones resting place and take the photo you desire. I would also like to give special thanks to Robert A. McGinnis. Robert is the Knox County Cemetery Historian and his efforts in researching and documenting all the cemeteries in Knox County, Tenn. and many in surrounding counties have been a great help to those of us that walk the cemeteries in search of headstones. Thank you Robert ! Questions pertaining to interments at Old Gray Cemetery in Knoxville should be directed to Alix Dempster at 865-522-1424 or email@example.com. Quite often she has additional information relating to those interments. I am no longer living in Knoxville,TN having moved to Port St. Lucie,FL.|

Hamilton Brown Murphy And Parthenne Murphy.
|Jenn Anderson||Frankie T Stair|
I think this may be my great grandmother. Your description says she was born in 1942 but the headstone says she was born in 1900?
|GARY JACKSON||Hamilton Brown Murphy|
Howard, would it be possible to transfer Hamilton Brownlow Murphy #48155853 and his wife Parthenie to me.This is my Great Grand father and Grand mother.
|lawman||RE: Henry and Maud Lloyd|
Thank you. I would appreciate that very much. Henry was a Quaker and a medical doctor to the Uintah Indians in northern Utah. When he died, Maud went to live with one of her sons and that is when my wife (Maud's great-granddaughter) knew her as G-G. My wife has very fond memories of G-G and I have photos of the two together. Thank you for your kindness.
