I am working on finding the graves of the descendants of Anthony Yerkes which are listed in the "Chronicles of the Yerkes Family With Notes On The Leech And Rutter Families" by Josiah Granville Leach published in 1904, and on finding the graves of those people mentioned in "Sketches of William Hicks, Abner Hicks, Jasper Hicks, George Harris, James Crews, John Earl and something of their Descendants With Comparisons of Present Conditions of Living With Those of Sixty Years Ago" by Titus Thurston Hicks, printed in 1926 and reprinted in 1954. I have virtual cemeteries for those that I have found.

Posting photos on FindAGrave does not automatically put them in the public domain. Please ask if you want to use any photos of mine and tell me what you want them for. My email is rafbeas at aol. If I find my photos used without my permission, I will take all necessary steps to redress the situation.

Do not email transfer requests. Use the Edit tab on the memorial. Transfers outside Find A Grave guidelines will be assessed on a case by case basis. Please tell me your specific relationship to the deceased and explain what you have to contribute to the memorial that I can't add. I am glad to add any links (except to memorials with no burial location) or bio information that you send. I do not add links to memorials where the final disposition has not been determined. Do not put obituaries or other information on the deceased in a flower.

RE: Declined Edit
I'm not sure which photo you mean. If it is Hilma, it shows correct in my browser. Let me know what you are referring to and I will fix it. Thanks for working with me to correct some of these issues.

Declined Edit
Good Afternoon,
I recently made an edit to a memorial that you administer for my 3x Great Grandfather Charles Christopher Allen #96942039. I was trying to connect his mother Mary Devol Slocum (Allen) (Daggett) #52862555. Mary married my 4x GG Holder Allen ##52852684 and had 11 children, one of which is Charles Christopher Allen. I have many documents which support this and I would appreciate it if you could approve this edit. If you need the supporting documents, please email me and I will supply them for you. My direct email is
zenarcherkevin@gmail.com
After the death of my 4x GG, Mary married Alonzo Daggett in 1877 and was known to everyone on the island as Grandma Daggett.
I would appreciate your consideration.
Sincerely,
Kevin Mach

# 64253782 Thomas Jenkins Curry
First, thank you for creating a memorial to my great grandfather Thomas Jenkins Curry. I would like to provide you some additional information on him. The pool room was only one of his contributions to the keys. He was a Monroe County Commissioner and Jenkins is credited as being “largely responsible for the first highway over the keys connecting Key West and the mainland”. This is from an article about him when he ran for Monroe County Sheriff. He was one of the incorporators of the Florida Keys Electrical Coop. Here is the link to the history of the Florida Keys Electrical Coop. http://www.keyshistory.org/fkec.html
What can we do to get him credit with his contributions to the Florida Keys? Are you related?

Krewson family
I'm sorry to leave a public message, but I had no other way to contact you.

I would like to request that you unlink John Henry Krewson as the son of John Krewson and Sarah Ann Barnes. I believe he has erroneously been placed as a child of this family despite also having parents named John and Sarah (I believe her maiden name is Mash). There are 2 Krewson families that have similar names and dates. These are the differences between the Krewson family of York County PA and the Krewson family of Philadelphia.

York County:
John Krewson (father) died sometime between 1860 & 1870. (He cannot be found after the 1860 Census). In the 1880 Census, his wife is living with their child Sarah (and husband George Sheckard) and is listed as a widow. 3 of their children have death certificates, and one lists a mother as Annie Mash. One of these children is Isaac T. Crewson, who died in 1917 and is buried in York County, PA.

Philadelphia:
John Krewson is still alive in 1880 and living with his wife. The Isaac of this family died in 1866. It appears as though the entire family is buried in Philadelphia.

I believe the differences give ample evidence that John Henry does not belong with the Philadelphia family, as his mother is listed as a widow in the York County Census, but the Philly censuses have both John and Sarah alive, and also the discrepancy of each John (son of John) having brothers named Isaac, one died in 1866 and is buried in Philadlephia, the other having died in 1917 and is buried in York County.

I hope you will consider making this change so that misinformation can stop being spread. If you'd like to correspond with me more on this matter, my email is ktkadoo@gmail.com

Thank you!

Wilmer N Elliott
Hi,
In reference to Wilmer N Elliott #89593766 he was my fathers brother. I have a copy of his Baptism record from Our Lady Star of the Sea Solomons Island MD, the name he was given is William Norman Elliott.

RE: Belgian 1940 Cemetery
There is no real difference between the 2 ranks. Just a result of Belgian language politics.

CPL is the abbreviation for Caporal (French rank name), while KPL is the abbreviation for Korporaal (Dutch rank name).

Incorrect..
Mine was entered back in January of 2016 but awaiting the location to be confirmed which was not until Wednesday May 18th 2016 by the church.
The other one of which you spoke was not created until May 12 2016 which is impossible since the burial was not until May 18th. Was that moved also? Mine was not 'moved'. It had far more data as well which seems to have been copied into the other newer one of which you speak.
