Wow! That's a new one. Sometimes there is no cemetery, like when ashes are scattered. I hope they don't take all of those ones off, too. I think I'll e-mail them with my concerns. Thanks for the heads-up!

Fortunately, names can be entered with no cemetery and cemeteries can be changed if they are incorrect or the name of the cemetery is later found. They do not have to be removed. See memorial #101087831. I have asked this Find A Grave volunteer to change the 'John' and 'Jack' around. Jack was, of course, his nickname.

I was wondering how you connect to Matthew Woodson. Always looking to expand my tree and find new relatives. My line is the "Potato Hole" Woodsons, not the Washtub line.

I wanted to let you know that I've added some photos to the cemetery that I took a week or two ago...I noticed in your bios for Lewis and Ida that the stones hadn't been found so just thought I'd send you this to let you know they are there now on your memorials :) p.s. I enjoyed looking at the family photos!

If you would like your family member transfered to you, just let me know.
|PME||Addie Helen nee Mahan Jones|
Thanks Argil, no need to transfer. I'm just helping a gentleman in research, and his immediate family is from Grover Jones and Maude's side. So I think it rightfully belongs to you. Let's just hope we can locate the cemetery in this 30 day period. I'm active in the forums on Find A Grave mostly in the Cemetery and Genealogy section, and I see way too many have memorials deleted with burial unknowns. Thanks so much for getting in touch with Mike, and hopefully we can bang all our heads together and fill in your tree and the gentleman's in Florida.

Thanks for your reply- Do you mind if I email you? I have found what appears to be Helen with Grover (although she lists herself as widowed in census records), we believe they divorced. Have Grover's second wife's obit with two surviving daughters, that didn't belong to her-have traced to be Grover and Helen's daughters, found in all accountable census records.

I stumbled upon your memorials while helping a gentleman on his family tree, I'm a fellow graver and help others when I can. I stumbled upon one of their daughters Helen A Mahan, whom in the course of events believe I found her death, and odd scenario with husband, and children. I was glad to see a Mahan did create this memorial, indicating they are your direct descendants. Can you tell me what you might know on Helen? Sincerely, PME

I transferred the memorial to you...sorry it took so long to get back to it. I was wondering if you could give me details on that branch of the Mahans, from Jacynthia's son James & his family.
|Sheila Stepko||Susan Wall Fry Stafford|
Thanks for the wonderful photo of Susan's stone. I am a descendant of Joseph Fry and Susan through their oldest son, William Frederick Fry. Would love to chat with you about this family. ~Sheila Stepko
