I first learned about Find a Grave when someone posted my brother's information on here in Sept 2005. I didn't get interested until a few months later and now I think I'm hooked. I hope to contribute a lot in the future. I'm also interested in genealogy - surnames McLarty, Garner, Steckling, and Kim (non-Asian) especially. My husband's family names are Perez, Veloz, Avila, and Jaramillo.|
Born & raised in Texas (born in Houston, raised in Tyler, University & marriage in Austin), but I'm now living in Shreveport, LA.
If anyone wants me to remove or edit an entry, please let me know. I will also gladly transfer ownership of a relative or friend's entry.
I visit Rosewood Park cemetery in Longview, TX every couple of months, so I would be happy to fulfill requests from there.

You added a photo to the above memorial, but the photo is for Devin Howells grave.
I added one for Brandon. Could you remove the incorrect one? Thanks.

Figured I would add links and then transfer. I can do all of that! I was thrilled to hear from you and have your request to transfer. Please let me know if there is ever anything else I can do for you.

Thank you very much for the transfer of Find A Grave Memorial# 33179390
I will get to filling in details of his life soon
|Debbie Dauster||Shawna Robertson|
Hi! The info on Shawna Dakota Robertson buried at Rosewood Cemetery is wrong. Her date of death was March 14, 1992. I have attached the last photo that was taken of her. She was at the hospital having surgery to repair a hernia. Shawna was born during my 25th week of pregnancy and was 13 inches long and weighed 2pds and 2ozs. She was absolutely an Angel that was loved by all and still missed today. Time has gone on but she has never been forgotten and will always remain my little "Angel Baby". Thankful to the Lord for time he loaned her to me. Thanks for adding and you have a Blessed Day.

The Daddy of Angel Love Rogers Find A Grave #40462648 was my husband's 2nd cousin.
Since the middle of last night I have been working on this family group, and this morning I learned about the 1937 New London School Gas Explosion - http://www.tshaonline.org/handbook/online/articles/yqn01
As a 5th generation Texan, born in Houston, I was and still am in SHOCK to have learned about the explosion only today, especially since it was a school and especially since, out of 500 students and forty teachers in the building, over 298 people died.
I do not know if Angel was a still-born baby, or whether she tried to live part of the day she was born, but her grandfather Joseph Hudnall "Joe" Rogers was a survivor of the New London School Gas Explosion. Joseph's brother Thomas Blanton Rogers died in the explosion. I just am learning all this today.
Angel's Dad Mark was born in 1953 and died in 2010 after a long battle with cancer. He and his wife divorced about a year before he died.
Joseph's wife, Mark's mother, Janice, died of a malignant sarcoma in her breast when she was only 48.
Having read the bio of the contributor who created Mark's memorial, I know she would not consider transferring his memorial to me.
I am going to ask you if you would consider transferring Little Angel Love Rogers to me. If not, I fully understand.
If you are more comfortable keeping her memorial, would you please link her to her Dad Mark Find A Grave # 104320699, so that they can be "together".
Thank you for your consideration, and thank you for "listening" to my email. I am feeling very sad. I hope you do not mind me sharing all this information with you.

I have sponsored the memorial on Find A Grave for:
Thomas H. Morris - Find A Grave Memorial# 33179390
I sponsor all the memorials that I am researching
Would you consider transferring this to me and I will add more information and images.
As you probably know, your name would remain on the memorial as the one who created it.
I am a medical & dental historian (Wellcome Institute, London) and retired director of the National Museum of Dentistry (see my bio and some of the physicians and dentists I am working on.)
I am just researching practitioners that I have artifacts from.
If you are not comfortable with a transfer - I can put the images up and send you the information to add.
Thank you for considering a transfer

You are welcome, I think your request had been there for a while so we were excited to find the headstone and photograph it for you.

I went to Memory Gardens today and took photos. I am wondering if your great aunt went by another name. I have a photo for Margaret M Duncan (1910-2004)that I will upload if you think this could be her. Husband is shown on same plaque as H.T. Duncan (1908-1968).
If you would prefer to look at it I will send it in an email instead. Looking forward to hearing from you.
