Yes, I work at the Macon Historical Society--I think we could correct the Nutes.
Have you been to the Macon County Historical Society Museum ? We have a super genealogy room!
|Jeanette Jones Halter||Isaac E; Harris(exact death date|
Jude, I am attempting to find the exact death date of Isaac E. Harris ((78760098). I also would like to know where you obtained all your info about him and his family. You did a fantastic job.
My specific goal is to find on obit on him which I can't seem to do. Can't find out if he died in Shannon or Texas County or in Oklahoma while living with Mary Roark?
I am a descendant of his daughter, Elizabeth Harris, from his first wife Cynthia Woolsey.
|Mary Ann Crawford -Beattie||Thank you|
Hey Jude... I want to thank you for all the Crawford information. I am a direct descendant of the first Crawford to come to the British Colonies,1600 John Crawford of Kilbirnie
North Ayrshire, Scotland
John, who inherited the title of Earl, was son of Malcolm Crawford and Margaret Cunningham. He was descended from Quintin Craufurd of Kilbirnie, and also from Reginald, youngest son of Alan, 4th Earl of Richmond.
I may have some other info if you want it.
|Baxter B. Fite III||Private George W. Brewer, Co. D, 77th Illinois|
Jude, Would you take a look at what I have on the George W. Brewer that is buried in the Riverview Cemetery in Streator, LaSalle County, Illinois and tell me what you think? I think he is the son of James and Rebecca (Snyder) Brewer. Looking forward to hearing from you. Baxter

You're welcome, Jude. Keep up the good work! ~Linda
The Sherrod I was working on was born in 1775 and He was married to Jemima McKay. I was helping someone at the family history center, Robert Pugh of Redding. I don't have the tree on my ancestry account so I can't look it up until I see Robert again or call him. This Sherrod was on an 1860 census and he was living with his daughter who was married and living with her husband and children. Robert reviewed the information and determined that Sherrod married Jemima who later died after having a few children. He then married another woman and had more children. I will confirm with Robert and review the information to make sure of the information. It is possible to have Two Sherrods born in the same year. I don't remember the last name off hand and I can't look it up while making this note. Thank you for being concerned. I don't want to have erroneous information out there.
|Marty||RE: Re Bishop|
Not a problem, I've made duplicates myself, I try to be careful, but it happens... I am not a member of Bishop family, but if you are, I would be very happy to transfer the Bishops I have to you.
I had been to the cemetery fulfilling photo requests and take other photos of graves there, if they aren't on Find A Grave I will add them along with any info I can find on Ancestry.com, etc.. and try to link them to family if possible..
You should add your photos to the memorials..
Happy Grave digging..
