Bio and Links
Bio Photo I lived and worked in the Dallas area over 35 years and now reside in northeast Texas. I LOVE the older cemeteries in this area (Cass, Camp, Gregg, Harrison, Marion, Morris, Titus
and Upshur counties).

Some contributors on this site are too "serious" and want to "collect" memorials....I am not a collector (I don't manage more memorials than I created) nor a hoarder (I will transfer/I don't manage all that I have created). I do like to be accurate in linking so I do my own research, but welcome your contributions and suggestions!

If you send me a "link" edit and I cannot verify it on my own, I will still generally accept it, but will place your name on the memorial, so if someone has a question about it, they can contact you! But I do NOT link to "unknown burial" memorials.

Please always remember: "You catch more flies with honey than you do with vinegar".

I am confused. If you would like, give me a call in the morning at 9037673817. I can probably still meet you at the cemetery if you would like. Just a thought.

When are you going and would you like some company? I can make time for it if you would like.

RE: Spring Hill Cemetery in Midway, Titus County Texas
I wish I knew how to create a cemetery. I would work and make sure the graves are listed in the correct cemetery.

Audie Isabelle Jordan - 115284842

I am not a family member, nor do I want to take over this memorial. I have just been doing some family history research on this family and have suggested edits indicating the dates and location of birth and death of this person. The person is a male even with the middle name of 'Isabelle'.

This person did not live long enough to be in any of the census data. My information came from other Ancestry members family trees.

Thanks so much for all you have done to put so many memorials in the northeast Texas area on Find A Grave. Your research and efforts are greatly appreciated.

P.S. I have sent an update to link her to Amos Mack Shelton. Hasn't been approved yet.

Please refer to page 161 that I separately emailed to you a few days ago. See III Amos Mack Shelton shows Ellen Calaway as his second wife. Thanks.

from 40 years experience chasing dead relations, many of them mocking me as being impossible to find....
on occasions the tombstone MAY be more accurate than the death certificate. It just depends on who is providing the information for the d/c - the hospital, the military, or the next of kin. Usually, but not always, the immediate family is the one providing the dates for the tombstone they are paying for. so I usually just list both dates and carry on.

Violet Maeda Davis
Thank you for responding. We were at the cemetery this weekend and took the photograph with her name as Violet. I also found her birth certificate as Violet Ma??? - Just wanted you to know that like my mother, she probably went by her middle name instead of her first name.
