My name is Suzanne, but most people call me Suzi. I live in Pennsylvania. I got interested in doing genealogy while looking for my birth siblings.(I was adopted at 2 months old) I am working on CARTER, COOPER, DELAUGHTER, PITTMAN families on my father's side. On my husband's family tree, I'm working on THOMAS, HAGGERTY, WESTCOTT. Some of the states that I am researching in are Mississippi, Louisianna, Alabama, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia on my father's side. My husband's family states are New Jersey, Pennsylvania, New York, Illinois and Kansas. His side also includes Ireland. I am not reasearching my mother's side as my brother has done that side. He got mom's line all the way back to 1593 in Germany.
My husband and I met and married while we were both serving in the United States Army stationed in Heilbron Germany. We have three (3) children. We are both disabled veterans.
Some of my hobbies include camping, Civil War Re-encations (we dress in period clothing for these), sewing, and genealogy. We have had a lot of fun looking at the headstones in the different cemeteries that we have visited.
