Bio Photo Cooperation is never so valued and when it is needed and not available. This site has proven again and again that cooperation, even in the simplest of things, can have long-reaching positive results - especially for those of us seeking connections.

Thank you findagrave.com and all findagrave contributors!

NOTE: I am happy to transfer memorials where warranted... however, I will only honor transfer requests if your relation to the individual is stated OR your reason for the transfer request is included.

NOTE ON PHOTOS: Any of the photos that I have uploaded may be used and copied as long as original credit is given.

You have her twice, she is at Belcrest, not the other one listed :--) I gave a bunch of edits on dates, mother, father etc. To the belcrest memorial.

Thanks, Lisa

RE: Hi again - questions about some memorials
Please accept my apology - I requested transfer of Vivian Weddle Long from you when she was actually part of an inactive contributor's collection. I have contacted Find A Grave to have it transferred to me.

Going back to messages a week or so ago, I just want to let you know I forgot to immediately edit my profile to remove the time limit on unrelated memorials. Don't know where my head has been lately. Please excuse my tardiness.

Best wishes.

Long's at Belcrest
Thank you, Lady Dragon. As usual, you are quick to respond and I appreciate that. Please let me return the favor sometime.

Hi again - questions about some memorials
Hi again,
I have been working on family memorial connections and see that you are the contributor for three of my relatives at Belcrest (Salem):
Vivian Weddle Long, 17496801
George Erwin Long, 67599427
Laurel Long, 67599415

I would like to request transfer of these memorials to me unless you are also related and would like to keep them. Vivian is my aunt, George my uncle, and Laurel my 1st cousin. Sylvan, the other cousin, is maintained by someone else.

Thank you. Hope all is well.

RE: Obit memorials
Absolutely agree with you as I have had similar experiences - one of them just recently and I really lost it (justifiably but embarassingly) in my reply to that person. I truly appreciate the time and effort you have devoted to clarify and make sure your words are understood as intended. You are an exceptional individual and I thank you.

Best wishes.

RE: Obit memorials
I interpreted your words as kind and caring about the families we represent through our memorials. If anything, I was ashamed of myself for only thinking of my side of things. I am sure that maintaining the memorials will be fine and not as time intensive as I'm projecting them to be. So, please be assured I felt no disrespect from you at all. Everything is good. Thank you for being sensitive to an absolute stranger's feelings -- it is so hugely rare for that to be the case online.

RE: Obit memorials
Dear Lady Dragon,
Your message caused me to open my mind and my heart a bit wider. You are right -- related or not, every memorial deserves to continue into the future and I will continue to maintain all I have created. I do hope family, no matter how distantly related, will eventually ask for transfers. At the time non-family memorials were created, I was only thinking of the logistics on this end. Thank you, truly, for awakening my sleeping sensitivity.

Best wishes.
