Bio and Links
Bio Photo I just wanted to thank "Laurel" for her help in finding my father, aunt, uncle and brother. She only asks that anyone she helps, "pay it forward". I hope that I was able to do that today by adding several people and photos to their listings.

If at anytime you find something that you would like removed, please contact me immediately and I will honor your wishes and respect your privacy.

I only hope that you find your "special angel" like I did..... and then you too can "pay it forward"!!

Linda Wright-Wood

** I enjoy being able to "document" any memorials that I add to Find-A-Grave with photos. I feel that being able to "source" my information with an actual photo allows the family members a opportunity to feel as if they are right there with their loved ones. **

John Shelton
RE: David Knight Shelton
Hello Linda,
He is a 2nd cousin once removed; so, he is not really close. That said, I would love to have him if you would transfer management to me. I see family members in NC occasionally and could probably come up with a story or two to add later.
Best regards,

Phoebe Langston Potts Langston
Phoebe's father was John Langston and mother Rebecca Potts. First she married Henry Bennett Jones about 1896 then she married Henry B Langston about 1932. So she was born a Langston and yet she also married a cousin who was a Langston. That happens in my family a lot. I hope this settles your questions.

I have made the links to their parents per your request. Have made transfers so that you may add additional info as needed. I have no family links to the Wright family and would prefer the memorial be under "keep" of a Wright family member.

You are most welcome, and I will go back and try again, but I need to bring a small rake to try and get some of the stuff out from under the shrubbery and see if there is anything else under there.

RE: Name Correction
Yeah, I'm still in the area. I grew up at Power Inn & Florin, live at Fruitridge and Power Inn. And work at the Broadway DMV field office. I see some of the guys when they come in to get their tags or license. Some recognize me, others remember the Homecoming queen that I ran around with better than they remember me.

It really made me sad to see the station sit empty for so long. And when the guy set the building on fire I happened to be sitting in my car at the check cashing store. I was the only witness that could actually describe the guy.

This big world is actually pretty small. It never fails...I'll go to either St Mary's, Sac County Veterans or Sac Memorial Lawn, take pictures, then create memorials. And within a week I'll encounter family members of those memorials. But that's what happens with you live, work and play in the same area all of your life
