 | RE: Gamel Cemetary, Festus, MO OK, thanks. I was running across a lot of obituaries from 2005 that used the name Presbyterian/Methodist as the cemetery the people were being buried in so that's where I was putting them because that cemetery is set up here under that name, but maybe Presbyterian/Methodist should be an a.k.a. name for Gamel. I don't really know. I asked someone who was with the Jefferson County Historical Society and they said the cemeteries should be separate because they are owned by different organizations and churches, and people are buried in a specific one according to their faith or the church they attended or where other family members were buried. I know that obituaries don't always use the right names either.Added by SteveZ on Jan 31, 2013 9:40 PM | | | Gregg Freese

 | RE: Gamel & Roselawn Cemeteries in Jefferson Co MO Hi Lisa Thanks for the offer to get photos at cemeteries in Jefferson County for me. I do have a couple of people I would like to find but I have no idea where they might be buried. One is my great aunt Sadie Ethel Mapps Ingleton Gibson Williams. She was born 11 Oct 1899 died 24 Nov 2002 in Festus MO. One of her husbands Roy Gibson born 17 Nov 1904 died Aug 1976 Festus I think. Her son-n-law Woodrow Anthony Carrow born 23 Mar 1918 died 3 Jan 2002 Festus. I doubt you've seen them but just taking a chance. Thanks for anything you can find.
