Bio and Links
Bio Photo I enjoy genealogy especially "digging" into the old Swedish church records that can be done online.

My husband & I like to travel & always visit cemeteries when visiting in other areas. We have been to Ireland, Australia, Norway & Sweden, plus all over the USA.

I feel that taking photographs & keeping genealogy records is a way of preserving the past, & that though these people lived a long time ago they are not forgotten.

A fun day for us is to pack a picnic lunch & take a country drive to discover a quiet old cemetery. The stories these long ago people could tell us.

RE: Hillary Gravemarker
Your welcome I was just a this cemetery yesterday looking for my dad's relatives Simmons, Jackson, Curtus and took some additional pictures. There is actually the Hillary name on my mom's side so I took this picture to see if it was a connection on her side (Barbara Hillary Hodgen Harker).

Hi Sandy......

Of course you can use theose pics. Thats what they're there for. All I want is $10 & $20. =)

I'll have to check where i found those. I've been all over the place. You can give me names anyway and if i'm in the area i'll check for them. It might be a nice thing to do the next sunny weekend.

I've seen that show. And besides the fact that it's a huge advertisement for's very interesting. I keep waiting for ancestry to offer a free trial period again so i can join and get all the stuff i can manage to get in the little time i'm offered.

Well, I'm certainly glad you found those pictures and i hope some more will pop up for you soon. I love doing this!

Is it a famous memorial? I'm not sure if you are able to request photos for famous memorials. I believe the terms of service are a little different than other photos.
