Bio and Links
Bio Photo Hello.

I am in Michigan. I am not related to 99.999% of my entries, but have added them with the hope that other researchers who have come to a dead end may be helped. With respect to those entries, I have no other information available as I have tried to include as much info as I have.

Please do not be offended, but for a number of reasons, including the volume of requests, I transfer memorials in accordance with Find A Grave's published guidelines. If you request a transfer, please be sure to include your relationship to the person who is the subject of the memorial. I cannot respond to transfer requests for all memorials with the same surname in a cemetery or to requests for a large number of memorials with the same surname.

If there are entries which need to be linked, please send the info to me via the correction/EDIT option or Suggest a Change (SAC) in the upper right corner and I will add the links. Also, if you would like me to add information to a memorial, please forward the relevant info via the SAC option for the quickest response.

If there is information in a memorial concerning a living person which you would like removed, please send me a request via the SAC option.

PLEASE DO NOT send transfer requests, relationship links or additional information for memorials via the public messages option. I do not make changes sent to my profile page. PLEASE USE THE EDIT TAB LOCATED IN THE UPPER RIGHT CORNER OF THE MEMORIAL.

OBITUARIES: Find A Grave has updated its policy concerning the use of obituaries in memorials (See: "Can I add an obituary to my interment listing?" under the Frequently Asked Questions section). If you send a request asking that an obituary be added, please be sure to confirm in your message that you have complied with the policy or I will not be able to add it.

Generally, I do not link to unknown burials. Nor do I add raw US Census or similar records, preferring instead to add information in sentences.

Many thanks for the kind notes, thank yous, flowers and tokens which are left on the memorials. It is rewarding to know that my work has helped someone.

Thank you.

Ivalyne Yake memorial
Ivalyne Yake memorial #37954663 is a duplicate of Ivayne Yake memorial #126866975 where she is actually buried.
There is a monument located in Long Rapids Cemetery that only lists date of birth.

Transfer my find a grave no, is 47287805
I noticed your name on the Find a Grave for John and Sarah Gonder. They both passed away years ago and are not together in the same cemetery. I would like to honor my GG/ grandparents in some way. Can you assist?

Sarah Gonder 1824-1888 is my GG grandmother she is buried in New Troy Cemetery, in New Troy Michigan.
Her son James S Gonder and other family members are also with her. Can you walk me through the transfer process? Can you help?

Her Husband John Gonder is my GG/ Grandfather. He is in the Reeder Cemetery, Missaukee County, Michigan on Kelly road. His grandson is also buried there and both do not have a marker. I have visited both cemeterys on two ocasions.

My Goal is to locate there site, John and William or Wiley and give them a memorial or marker to identify them to the family.

Can you help with location in Reeder Cemetery,
Some unmarked graves do have a brass or bronze number but I have been unable to identify the exact location. Can you transfer? Can you help?

Thank you for all the help you do for our ancestors.

Find A Grave Memorial #140945199 William K Bailey
Hello! I was wondering if you would allow me to attach (with appropriate credit given) your headstone photo from this memorial to my tree on Ancestry?

Thanks for considering my request. :)

Nils and Anna Larsson
Nils Larsson: Find A Grave memorial #91077113
Anna Larsson: Find A Grave memorial #91078847

Hi. I understand you disagree with some of my suggested edits to these individuals (the Anna birth date edit was declined and her maiden name is still Jones). I am a direct descendant. I have done a tremendous amount of research in the US and Sweden on these individuals. (In particular I can show the grave marker is wrong for Anna using both US and Swedish records.) I know my relationship to them is more distant than the Find-a-Grave guidelines offer for memorial transfer, and I understand you have created hundreds of thousands of memorials and managing transfers and such for that level of pages is difficult. But, I would ask you to graciously defer to me for these individuals and transfer. It would be greatly appreciated and make the editing process much easier. If you wish to have a quick look, my research on these individuals can be found at the following links:

Thank you for your consideration in this matter, and thank you for your efforts in the Find-a-Grave community. I am certain I have never seen such level of contribution before.
