Bio and Links
Bio Photo Several years ago my Father asked me to find out as much about his family as I could as his Dad had not been around much when he was younger and his parents eventually divorced. That simple request sent me on my journey that now includes my husband and my children and takes me to Canada, Europe, and the Hawaiian Islands with the long history of the Kohala Coast. The importance of doing family research was strongly reenforced with the sudden passing of my 25 year-old daughter, Sara, in 2010. Now my husband and I jointly take pictures for other families in hopes of putting their families together, if only years later.

Hi Susan!
Are you sure the photo you posted of Anna Manono Ahrens is her? She died at 5 yrs old and the girl in the pic looks much older than 5 yrs.

Aloha, Gloria

archibald worden
You have a memorial for Archibald Worden 93920155 and Betsy Worden in Davison. Michigan. They can't find any record of their deaths. Do you know where you got your original information? Could the cemetery be wrong? Thanks for your help!!

James Kaneolo Booth
A number of years ago my wife and I visited Naples in an effort to find James' burial site. The British Consulate was extremely helpful and we
found the British Cemetery where he was initially laid to rest. It's a long story but we did not find his exact site...We also tracked him down at the Nunziatela. At any rate I am looking for a photo of the young man...can anyone help?

Please email me at if you can.

Aloha, hardy spoehr

Hello Susan;

By chance do you have a pic for James Durgee's stone at Evergreen Cemetery? If so could you email me a copy?

Find A Grave Memorial# 28351200 (Solomon Finster )
Do you have ANY idea who Solomon Finster's parents were? I am thinking my George H. Finster (Find A Grave Memorial# 160520794) who married Jeraldine Wells MIGHT be his brother. I believe George was born in Herkimer County, NY about 1819. I know he spent several years in Oswego County and believe it was there he met and married Jeraldine. George and his wife were in Shiloh, Iowa by 1880 and end up in Hardin County (buried in same cemetery as Solomon's son Henry John Finster and his family). That is why I think there might be some family link between them. My theory is that Solomon and George were brothers and Henry was George's nephew. But I would certainly like to be able to prove that. Any info. you can provide would be appreciated.

Earl Kleinschmidt
I was wondering where you find the information regarding Earl Kleinschmidt. I'm his great grand daughter and our family is trying to learn more about our ancestry. So far we haven't had much luck finding information out about him, except for this website

Bader Family Cemetery
Hello. If I am reading the info correctly, you have posted some photos of grave markers in the "Bader Family Cemetery" (Hawaii County). Can you tell me the location of the cemetery where your photos were taken? There are Find A Grave requests for additional photos but I cannot find any reference online for the address of the cemetery. Thanks.
