|RoadRunner||RE: Lucy Strauser, thank you!|
Hello- The church may do it. They are very good about the upkeep of the cemetery. Their phone number is (570) 889-5039.
If the church can't or won't upright the stone, here are two good monument companies in the area:
|Orvil Brummett||Thanks for photo|
Thank you very much for the photo of Sgt. William States' headstone in McConnellstown, Pa cemetery.
|Valerie McCullough||Robert Marshall|
Thank you for the photo. I appreciate it.
|Robert David Miller||RE: Thank you for your work|
Thank You for your kind words, this is a labor of love to everyone who can't come here to visit their family. I still have 1000's to post so I shall be busy for awhile yet. Happy New Year. Sincerely, Robert Miller
Thanks Christine. You are a gem! Have a blessed day and a very Merry Christmas.

|Donald Coho||RE: Strickler Headstone|
Are you aware a replacement headstone can be obtained at no charge from the Veteran's Administration? Installation costs still have to be borne.
|Donald Coho||Strickler and Bryant|
Thanks, your gr gr grandfather, William R. Strickler, has been added to the 125th PA's virtual cemetery. I've deleted the record I created for James Bryant in Grandview; there's only one James Bryant in the 125th (in Co F). Please create a record for James Bryant in Stonerstown (with headstone photo if possible) and communicate the memorial record # to me.
If I were retired I would spend all of my spare time in Blair, Cambria & Huntingdon Counties, looking for 125th PA graves. There's no subsitute for walking thru the cemeteries, and for me, it's a great honor to stand next to a 125th's grave.
If you live in (or near) Huntingdon County there are a lot of missing 125th soldiers from companies C, F, H & I ! Recently, I connected with a father/son combination who are my direct ancestors, John Benton, Sr., of 125th Co E, and Jr of the 205th PA, Co C. They're in Newry.
