|Reenie Sikes||Fleming Family at Craig Memorial Park|
You created 5 memorials for the Fleming family at Craig Memorial Park in St Augustine, FL. These people are actually buried at the Hibernia Cemetery in Orange Park (Clay County), FL. With the exception of "Baby Fleming" and "Baby Boy Fleming," the ones you created are duplicates of memorials that already exist. You posted your findings in 2006, yet the others were posted in 2004. I am sure that if you contact the person that created the original memorials, they would be able to include your information, too. Contact me if you have any questions. Good luck, Reenie

|Willa M. Jones LaRoche||RE: pictures|
Hi Tressie I replied under the picture I was speaking of. It is one of my sister and her exhusband Philip Gallo. Not our Father who was never in the Marines. Our Father was in the the Army and Korean War. His children Laura and Jack from his second marriage were adopted by their grandparents so thete is only myself my sister from his third marriage which our mother was never a Shuman by the way. Gene was legally adopted by Marie LaRoche. He also has a adopted son Marcus Allen by fourth wife Yvonne Jones. Our Father has three grandchildren and four great grand children. His daughter and son who were adopted by their grandparents .There would have been three grandsons there. Legally speaking. Yes Tressie I do have much information and not just on our Father. I lived in Maries house as a child. What everone is forgetting is she was my Grandmother and I came to see her and she was a big part of my life. I loved her. I do know that her memories that I have with mewill be kept safe.I hope this answers a few things on Genes. I have much more but Im going through Cancer right now so Im not on the laptop much. Take care and God Bless Tressie
I see that you have family members that are in Georgiana Cemetery. I am not the preservation committee and I am putting together information about our interments. If you would like to contribute any information, please private message me at email@example.com.
Thank you in advance - Kelly Lyerly
|Michael Pafford||Herman William Berge|
regarding Herman William Berge memorial #73912738, the photo you posted is of his son, not him - you need to transfer your photo to the correct memorial
|Susan I. Grills||Elbridge G. Cabiness|
You might want to note his service in the Confederate Army. He served in the Artillery. This service was credited on his father's memorial but is incorrect. American Civil War Soldiers shows that the Elbridge Cabiness who served was born in 1845, so it is this man and certainly not his father who was 60 at the time.
|Tina||RE: LaRoche Family|
My great great grandfather James LaRoche had 14 children and then they all had loads. Many of them remarried and also married other cousins. He came to Florida with my other great great grandfather John H Sams after the Civil War from John's Island South Carolina. They built St. Luke's Episcopal Church together. I grew up in John H Sams house (now a museum) about a mile from the church. All the LaRoches, Sams, Jenkins, LeBarons, and Blacks buried there are my cousins, etc. I knew everyone of them that has been alive in my lifetime and I also hold the church records and graveyard plan. I have the complete family trees for these families going back hundreds of years. I am the family genealogist for St. Luke's. The LaRoches from South Carolina are not related to the LaRoches from Georgia. There were several unrelated LaRoches that came over to America in the 1600's. I myself am a LaRoche/Sams. All the information and links I have given you are from the actual church records and are completely accurate. I will be glad to take some of them off your hands if you like to make your easier! xxx

I am sure we are cousins. I am Celestine LaRoche Woelk Cottam otherwise known as Tina. I was born in 1959. My great grandfather was Benjamin Bailey LaRoche and my great grandmother was Martha Edwards Sams LaRoche. I grew up in the Sams House in Courtenay Florida and my ancestors build St Luke's Episcopal Church in Merritt Island Florida. I hold loads of family letters, photos, and genealogy material. I am sure we can help each other out!
