Hi, I have no idea why I wouldn't have accepted the corrections. I agree w/ everything you said. Anyway, changes have been made.

I will really appreciate it if you will please transfer management to me of Howard.
Thank you so much. It is such a beautiful day, I hope you enjoy it.
|Margaret Ellis||RE: Clorah Mae Spivey Plemmons|
Thank you for doing this. I do realize that mistakes can be made by everyone and I sincerely hope I did not offend you in any way when I made this request. If I did, I am giving a sincere apology to you for doing so. A. E. and Clorah are my maternal grandparents and I remember going out to that cemetery every year and helping mama clean the tombstone. I live in GA now and don't get back to Asheville very much and am really happy to have found this site so I can visit them often with fond memories of the ancestors. What lines are you researching? Was just wondering if we have any in common so we can exchange info if you want to do that. I am working on Plemmons, Hayes, Cole, Spivey, from mama's side and McCoy, Smith on daddy's side. Daddy's are out of SC. Mama's are out of NC going into VA and PA.

I noticed this and it was also brought to my attention by another find a grave contributor, that the picture you placed on this memorial is not the correct one for her. She shares the tombstone with her husband, A. E. Plemmons. Could you please remove this one and replace it with the one showing the cemetery with the fence around it. I have some others that I can place on both memorials. Thank you very much.

Will you please transfer this memorial to me also as he is the husband of Clorah Spivey Plemmons and my grandfather. Thank you.
|Ann||Parents and siblings of George Albert Whitaker|
You have listed the parents and siblings of George A. Whitaker incorrectly. His parents were George Washington Whitaker and Mary Jane Metcalf Whitaker. Mary Jane was George Washington's third wife. He had three children with his first wife, Louisa Riddle: George Mannon, Samuel Riley, and Fleming Lenore. He had no children with his second wife, Susan E. Corn, who raised the boys after Louisa died.

|Ann||Catherine Buckner Swann|
Helen, What can you tell me about Catherine Buckner Swann. She appears in the household of Millie (Buckner) Holcombe (widow of Obadiah Holcombe) in the 1870 census along with Chrisley Holcombe and her husband, Stephen Swann. Both Chrisley and Catherine are also listed in Catherine Holcombe's home in 1860 with last names of "Holcombe; however, both later give their last names as "Buckner."
Obadiah Holcombe and Mille Buckner Holcombe were my great grandparents, and I have puzzled for years about who Chrisley and Catherine's parents were and how they happen to appear in the household of Millie Buckner Holcombe for the first time after Obadiah died in 1860.
Any light you can shed on the connection would be greatly appreciated!

Hello, thanks you for your help and for the message. I am only related by marriage. His daughter Doris is my step-mother. I would be happy to manage if you are okay with it - I surely do understand if you cannot.
