I've lived in Mississippi, Virginia, Pennsylvania, New Mexico, Louisiana, and traveled in many other states. I currently reside in west Texas. Genealogy research should be shared. Anyone who wants my pictures or information is welcome to it. I am grateful to those who unselfishly post their findings and pictures and share with others. I also appreciate the team efforts of findagrave members-those who contribute pictures, obituaries, and family links. I don't mind death certificates on my postings. Not only is this site used to perpetuate the memory of loved ones, but it is also used to help others track their ancestors. Really, what is the difference in copying information from a death certificate than just posting it? Also, the new Edit system is great, but members, please check the requests before you blindly hit Accept. I've caught many errors in these edit requests. Please don't hyphenate last names or ask me to do so. Consider how difficult it is to search for an ancestor with a hyphenated last name. Feel free to browse my American Revolution and Civil War virtual cemeteries, and leave flowers for these soldiers, as well as the Purple Heart recipients. And, do we really need copyrights on a headstone picture? How ridiculous! We need to leave our egos at the cemetery gates.
Troy Lee Graham, Blytheville,AR Sorry, I hit the enter button and don't know how to delete my previous mistake. I am interested in Troy Lee Graham and his father Clifford Lee Graham who are buried in Blytheville, AR. I believe Clifford's mother was my gg grandmother, Charlotte E (Butler) McHughes Graham. Married to Clifford's dad, J.C. in 1900 Federal Census in Alcorn County, MS. Are you related? If so would you either post here or email me at firstname.lastname@example.org? Thank you.
Find A Grave Memorial# 156308739 Hi Kathy, Since you just added this memorial in Dec. 2015, I'm wondering if you recall any information about this William A. Adams gravestone? I think this is the person I've been looking for, but w/o a picture of the gravestone or more info than what's on the Find A Grave Memorial, I can't be sure. Thanks for any help you can provide, Gary Corder
Ellen Willard Dear Kathy, I am interested in finding obits and grave site for Ellen Willard. I looked in the cemetery listed for her in the old section and could not find her. The cemetery office also had no record for her. Could you please allow me to see the source you have for your listing in find-a-grave? Maybe I can pin down where she is. Thank you Deniese Powell
Stevenson I noticed you added David (Davis) Potts Stevenson and his wife Mary Jane. I am wondering if you actually went to the cemetery as these are my gg grandparents and I am absolutely heart broken that they do not have headstones. I have heard the cemetery is very hard to get to so I am sure you had your work cut out for you. Thank you so much for the pictures you did get. I look forward to hearing from you.
This page is part of the results from a search I did for our Atchison family. I know my third grandfather, W C Atchison, had a younger brother Henry Clay Atchison. Do you have any additional information on this family.
