May I have your permission to use the information you have posted for my Great Uncle. I would like to use it in my Ancestry research.
Thank you Elizabeth

Alverta Andrews
Sorry, I failed to mention info about Alverta..This was my step grandmother and initially her name was on the tombstone along with my grandparents, James E and Polly Andrews. After Bertie died her family buried her in another county and did not bury her beside James Earl Andrews. My mother replaced the stone and had her parents names engrave on the second stone. My mother knows what county Alverta has been buried in....I can't remember at this moment. Alverta is not buried in this cemetery, though. Thanks again.!

James Earl Andrews
Dear Kimmie,
James E Andrews was my maternal grandfather. I so appreciate that you submitted his name on this site. I recently visited his grave a few weeks ago and cleaned it up....I also took new pictures with a different perspective of view. Would you mind if I asked you to transfer your memorial to me? I would be so very grateful and my mother would be, too. She is the one who started our genealogical research back in the 1970's...i have picked up her collections and am expanding the tree with pictures and stories...etc...My mother had no internet in the 70's and now she is 81. Anyway, thank you in advance if you decide to forward the management! Kimberly

Could you review the birth date on the memorial. It look like it should be 1835 or 1836 if so could you correct the date. I would like to link if this is the correct person for my family.
Thank you very much

Hi Kimmie!
Please change the date of death for my grandmother Mary Dell (Steele) Rice. Her memorial number is: 13204624. She had just turned 80 in November, and died in her sleep the night of January 7, 1987 at home. She'd cooked a big pot of beef stew that afternoon, and talked about all the things she did growing up, and she died in her sleep that night. She and her twin sister, Martha Bell (Steele) Herrin were born November 1, 1906 either in Dekalb County or just inside Putnam County. Either way, they lived right near Silver Point.

Thank you for the John Bradshaw photo. It looks like you took some time to clean it a big too. I like for our CW soldiers markers to be displayed on their sites. I will have to look up in my records to see if I read his pension file and wrote any notes on it. His may be one of the ones I did not get to before we moved or one that did not have a pension. I like to add additional information whenever possible.
