"I encourage everyone to use the photos for whatever reason best suits their purpose. In my opinion, family photos, including these headstone photos need to be distributed between family members. The more people that have copies of them, the more likely they are to survive to future generations."(Quoted from Laurie Wilson's profile).

I was looking through Find A Grave for my grandparents on my father's side; Father is Edward Willard Farmer; Grandfather is Edward Dance Farmer. Great Grandfather is Henry R Farmer. I don't know much besides that on the Farmer side. I remembered my grandmother used to tell us kids that we were related to Daniel Boone. (I'm not sure I believed that) but decided to check for common last names on Daniel Boone family gravesites. I found his brother, Israel Boone, was married to a Martha Farmer, so thought that might be the connection, although that would not make me truly related! I didn't find any more links but I did find your name on her page so thought I would say Hi and wonder if there is a connection.

In the book "Long Lost Cuzzins" by Elmo Johnson it says she married George Presley. George, Benjamin and James served in the Revolutionary War. His muster roll shows him at Morristown, Philadelphia, Valley Forge, White Plains and Middlebrook. George Presley, b 1747 d 1800, shortly after the Revolution, buried Saint Michael's Episcopal Churchyard. Edmund who married his brother' George's widow moved to TN. They took their 3 children plus George and Elizabeth's son, named George, to TN.

id really like to discuss several of these with you. please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org
They look like they take care of the cemetery at Lakeview. A lot of the grass was cut, but are lazy about keeping it off the grave markers that are at ground level. They need to trim and edge in addition to cutting the grass on a regular basis.

I always try to keep a look out for other family graves when I find one. Actually found the grave for Joseph Chaney before Willis and Artie. They were directly in the next row across from him, otherwise I might not have found them. The cemetery needs to get someone to trim around many of the grave markers in the ground because the grass is growing over many of them. Family links are now added.

You're very welcome. Don't worry about misspelling my name. Not the first time that has happened.
I found another Chaney near Artie and Willis. Do you know Jospeh Dalford Chaney? Also had to do a little grass trimming to find the Chaney graves. They were almost completely covered over making them a little difficult to find.

Nice to meet you cousin. Part of the Galyon cemetery is on my land. We take care of the cemetery. I have talked to the Roane county heritage commission. I have talked to Robert about the cemetery. He could not give me a date when it was astablished. Thanks for the information.
