This is just a spontaneous note to say thank-you for all your hard work.
It has been close to 8,9 years or so (maybe more?) that we communicated via e-mail as I found all the wonderful Ford Gilliland info...and I shared all I had being a desc. of Hester Ford (6x grandmother) with you. Don't know if it rings a bell..anyway you've covered lots of miles and info since then.
* "me" being (Smith) maiden name.
I've found time in my life in recent to get back to this hobby and find your name on so many things I am accessing. My goodness THANK YOU! The work you've done,.wow. I must have come across info you've contributed to, a dozen times today!
Janice Hill (*Madlem) *remarried.

I am researching the Ford Family - have a photo from my grandmother of Thomas H. Ford, written on it is Governor of Ohio (I now know that should be Lieutenant) My grandmother's grandmother was Sarah Ford, sister of Thomas, married to Job Cusey. They had 14 children, one of whom was Wm Lyon Cusey, my grandmother's father. I have a letter written to "brother and sister" James Clemmens and to niece Sarah Clemmens and feel that James' wife was also a Ford. If you have any family history you would be willing to share I would be most grateful. Ann email@example.com

Okay, Thanks Rose. I'm in Ohio. So I suppose I will need to call the Church myself, or when I'm out there next Summer make a point of stopping in to see how it can be remedied. It's a beautiful stone, but disturbing in our modern society to see errors like this, lol.

Did you take this picture? I'm General's Gr, Gr, Grandchild. I was wondering because I notice a new stone was erected for him at Firescreek. I was wondering if you; or anyone has contact for the Cemetery office, if someone may contact them to advise they have his middle initial wrong. The date of his death was May 8, 1855, not 1854 and he passed away on September 15, 1931. His birth record is on my memorial and that of his mother's.
We'd like to know what can be done to correct his marker.
