Richard Daniel Royalty # 15152563
Richard Daniel Royalty was born on 3 Feb 1849 in Edgewater, Pike, Missouri, USA, he was Christened at El Dara Christian Church in El Dara, Pike, Illinois, USA on 22 Feb 1908. He died on 4 Sep 1924 in El Dara, Derry twp, Pike, Illinois, USA. Richard married Adelphia Fesler on 16 Jan 1873. Adelphia was born on 28 Nov 1853 in El Dara, Pike, Illinois, USA and died on 5 Jun 1919 in El Dara, Derry twp, Pike, Illinois, USA. Their grandson Paul D. Royalty is also buried at Taylor-Martin Cemetery with them. That is the correct name of the cemetery. You might want to move them over to the correct site. I was out there and took the pictures. It was interesting to find the cemetery. Paul's father is Find A Grave Memorial# 83836191, and his mother is Find A Grave Memorial# 83836287. They are at Park Lawn Cemetery. Thank you for your help.

Ruben Hornback
Do you have any further information on Ruben born 1837? I am looking into his connection as my gggradfather on my grandmothers side. The Horbacks of Pike county and specifically their connection to Wren is hard for me to trace. If you have any information on this I would be so greatful.
I am looking for the connetion as a family history project please contact me at kdyer290@gmail.com if you have anything at all.
Thanks
Katy

RE: Elizabeth Graham
I just noticed your request for photos of family members buried in Hornback. Unfortunately, I have no photos. I understand what you are saying about the cemetery condition. Its a bit overrun. We drove through the area a few years ago and also visited the Shinn Cemetery. On our way back to Virginia for a one year assignment we found Shinn Cemetery had recently been cleared by a group of volunteers, so very easy to navigate and locate tombstones. Then on our return trip home the next year, the cemetery was unaccessible due to the grass and trees growing as high as I am tall. It was disappointing.

RE: Elizabeth Graham
Karen - Wonderful to hear from you. Thank you so much for moving Elizabeth Graham's memorial over to myself or management. Elizabeth is my g,g,g grandmother, born in Middlesex County, New Jersey. I will add in memorials that are related to her. She moved to Pike County, Illinois from Clermont County, Ohio due to receiving bounty land.

It's good to hear El Dara has someone representing the area.

RE: El Dara-Graham
Karen - So glad that we connected. My husband and I went through Pike County three years ago and visted a couple of the cemeteries. Unfortunately, I do not have pictures of Graham family members that resided in Pike County, Illinois. Too many generations ago. I do plan on adding some details to Elizabeth English Graham, that is buried in Hornback Cemetery.

Karen - I would be honored if you allowed me to manage Elizabeth Graham's memorial in Hornback Cemetery. I am her great, great, great granddaughter. I have additional details that I would like to add to her memorial. To transfer management please input my id 47311251.

Thank you,
