Bio and Links
Bio Photo I live in a small Nebraska town. I have family and friends buried in several Nebraska cemeteries and also some buried in the very northeastern part of Montana. I love visiting cemeteries and looking at the grave markers. I also LOVE to take pictures!!! Please let me know if I can help you get the pictures that you need!!

Also, in the Fairmont/Geneva area, I go by the name of Mary instead of Marietta.

memorial #62418851
Regarding this memorial, this individual was living with his daughter and son in law in Nebraska when he died, his wife died in 1941. His daughter and her husband lived and Nebraska, the son in law died in Nebraska in 1971 and was buried in the place where he was born.
Explanation is on daughter's findagrave
#21227677 Lena Swango Cowins Heyen in her obituary.
I'm glad you posted this memorial, I wouldn't have found him if you hadn't. He is a great grandfather for us.

Lewis Arthur Wilson
Hi Mary,

Sorry I’ve taken so long getting back to you. I’ve tried to find any info on Lewis Arthur other than what I already had & haven’t had any luck. The info that he was buried in the same “plot” as his parents & siblings is all I’ve had to go on from the family. I tried to find him or his wife in the Wyuka Cemetery in Lincoln or in any Lancaster Co. cemetery, but came up empty handed. His wife was Anna Belle Howuttle, b. in IL in 1894 & died in Apr 1968 in Lincoln. There are a number of the Wilson family that lived, died, & were buried in Fillmore Co. They were there before Geneva was established & some in the family could watch the construction of Geneva from their farm. So, I’m at a loss to come up with new info at this time. I’ll try to do some more searching and will keep you email to get back to you if I find something that helps.

RE: Infant or Infant Unknown
If you don't know the last name, I probably wouldn't even add a memorial. It seems a bit pointless. If you want to add a memorial anyway, either way should be acceptable.

Esther & Joseph Turek Memorials
Hello ... you have requested that I replace the Lot location of these memorials with numeric data. Are your numbers the latitude & longitude numbers? I ask because I will then include both the lot location and your figures. The map and book at the cemetery is organized by Sections & Lots. Thank you, Sandy

Cemetery upgrade of Lot numbers.
I hope this finds you well. Just to let you know I have upgraded my McMahan's memorials (Geneva) with the new plot numbers you sent. Know I appreciate all your hard work and the help you have extended to me documenting these graves.
I recently talked to a cousin in Geneva, and he says the corn there is the best crop yet this year.

Best greetings from Puerto Rico.

Dorothy Laschanzky photo

I am one of Dorothy's daughters and I was wondering where you got all of your information that is on the
grave finder page, i.e. her nickname, parents, etc.?

And I was curious as to why you took a picture of her head stone? Did you know my mom when she lived in Geneva? I have not lived in Nebraska for many, many years, but my youngest sister does live there.
