RE: Steinhausers in Springwell
Hello,
I am happy to accept the edits--I wanted to know a reason, and I thank you for writing. If you would like me to add additional material, please let me know.

Thank you so much for the edits--how do you know where they were born and where they died? If it is from family knowledge, that is fine, but somehow I have to know the source, if possible. I look forward to hearing from you! (If you would be so kind as to send it via the Edit on their memorials --the last one "additional information" it will go to my e-mail with a link to the memorials).
Thank you in advance--I actually am very happy to update memorials to align more truly with the facts.

My home is in Maryland and this family line is in Iowa. I have obtained information from the Iowa Genweb with references for some and have located
gravesites through online information.

Wm. R. Demar's 2nd wife Nevesta and 2 of their sons are not buried in cemeteries that I was able to locate. I was told by a great aunt that William had a large farm and that some family members were buried there. If information appears for them, I will move the memorial.

Wm. and his first wife Martha have a stone in the Adams Cemetery that was placed by their children, "in honor of father and mother".

Several of William and Nevesta's children resided in the Des Moines area.

If you locate obits, please keep me in mind.
Your help is appreciated.

Thank you for the information that you provided
for John. If you happen to see any further information for John or his 1st wife, Martha Demar, I am interested. They possibly are in a different cemetery. The Demar family in Iowa
is my great grandfather's oldest brother's line.
I included them in hopes of attracting someone
that might include the missing information.

The records that I located for John were spelled Hockersmith. Is that another spelling for Hockensmith that you include in your memorials?

Your help is appreciated,
Margaret

RE: Harry Clay Simmons
Thank you Bill for looking into Harry Clay Simmons for me and finding out where he was really buried at. If it isnít any trouble to you, I would LOVE an obituary for both Harry & his wife Avalona's (Lona). Thank you for offering! :o)

Nope, that works for me! It does not get more authoritative than that. Thanks!

You submitted a correction online to change the place of Philip's death from Miami Co, KS to Kansas City, Jackson Co, MO. I have several sources that indicate it was Miami Co, KS, but I do not know the authenticity of those sources. What is the source of your information for his place of death?

Regards,
