Name of Father of Rosella Camilia Gilliam
Hi, Susan thanks for doing all the work that you do. I know it is hard to get every headstone right. I have trouble getting the ancestry tree right. The transcription on Rosella headstone is daughter of A.T. & S.M. It should be J.T. for James Thomas & S.M. for Sarah Miranda Gilliam. If you could change that when you get a chance. Thanks in advance. Pamela

RE: Mary Emma Langhorne
No sorry. I have never really checked out Mary Emma Trammell Langhorne very much. I believe however that the Emma buried in the Old Henderson City Cemetery is the one indicated in the 1860 and 1870 censures as the daughter of Thomas Jefferson Trammell 1811-1886 who is also buried in this cemetery. Emma's mother is buried at another cemetery in Rusk Co. T J Trammell was married three times. My interest in this family was that Emma's sister Georgia Monroe Trammell Mays 1855-1923 married John Matthew Mays 1846-1823. Both of them are buried in the Old Henderson City Cemetery. I am related to the Mays. It is always possible I could be wrong, but have no evidence that I know for it being an Emma Trammell Duval.

Hood County Texas
Hello Susan, I am the County Coordinator with the Hood County TXGenWeb Project. I have seen the outstanding photos that you post here on findagrave and I am curious if you have any photos of Hood County Texas burials that you would be willing to share with the Hood County TXGenWeb project. We would of course give you full credit... thanks for all you do! ~Jason Hood County TXGenWeb Project

RE: Margaret Scanlon @ StL Calvary
I was just looking for a Toomey, which lead me to a Brockmann... which is next to your Scalon/pierce etc.

Please look at 51202691, you can see that in 2010 your possible stone was upright. You might want to contact her to see if she has a picture for some reason of that stone. Or if you get a crop of that area...

Good Luck!

RE: Margaret Scanlon @ StL Calvary
You can call the cemetery and they can print you copies of the cards. They have them digitized. The plot cards are ok. They are very basic. The names, burial dates and location within the plot. The online records were 'created' from the cards. So the only info that you are missing is actual location within the plot. They have always been generous with me in printing them off.

You may ask also if they do have a Monument listed on the card. To see if they can right the stone that is down. I have no idea what would be involved in getting it back upright. Unfortunately, most of the time it is the family's responsibility for the stone.

Happy Hunting,

Margaret Scanlon @ StL Calvary
I might accidentally fulfilled one on the Margaret Scanlon's wrong if you had requested it.

There were to Margaret Scanlon that died in 1907.
the December one is in sec 7, lot 158
but the September one is in Sec 5 Lot E.- Odds are not good that there is a stone there. Those were mostly stacked doubles with the first being on a needed basis.

So if you need the other Sept Margaret can you please re-request her.

But all in Sec 7, lot 158, now have the same lot photo and info.

Sorry, and happy hunting
