Geneology is my winter hobby. I'm researching the Sparks family in Vigo Co., Indiana and Denver, Colorado; The Kent family in Iowa, the Kanatzar family in Missouri and the Pamperin family in South Dakota and Oregon. I live in Southwest Washington and am willing to fullfill photo requests in that area.|

|C.C.Diamond||ID Military in Westlawn-Hillcrest|
We are currently working to identify anyone buried in Westlawn-Hillcrest Cemetery Omaha NE that has served in the military. If you have a loved one buried there or know of someone, please send us a message. We place flags on the graves for Memorial Day. This project is sponsored by Centennial Masonic Lodge #326.
If you can send us the names, we will be sure to include them on our list to get a flag.
Thank you for the help with this ongoing project.

|Sheila||RE: Edit Tab|
Hi Jeff- Thanks for replying about the "Edits" tab. I happened to be reading the forums the day the new system took effect for everyone in early Dec. Other members and myself put up messages on our home pages then. Have been following things and realized there were many that didn't seem to know about it yet, so that's why I decided to do this. We do not get an email notification for any pending edits in the new system, so we need to keep checking the tab. No, this is not something we can turn on or off. If you have any pending "Edits" in the new system, the tab will have a number in it. These edits are separate from the ones you get the "old" way. We still get email notifications for those. You can click on the tab and see the drop down box, which divides up the edits into different categories. You can also view edits you sent through the new system. You do get an email when your edit has been processed. It does not have a way to request links or add sources, so we still have to do those the same way. The "old system" for lack of a better term is still fully functional and some members choose to use only that, but I'm sure it will be phased out eventually. Hope this helps and/or makes sense :) You may have figured all this out already. Take care.

|Sheila||"Edits" tab on home page|
HI - I'm doing a quick survey of about 400 people on my friends list just to see how many are aware of the new "Edits" tab on their home page. If you could just shoot me back a brief response, either way that would be great. Thanks.

|Garland Hill||Thank you|
for linking up the Tichenor girls
|R McHenry||RE: Elizabeth Nicks|
Yes, Elizabeth Nicks 1871-1953 is shown as buried in Block 48A Lot 8 NW 1/4 space 1, which is at the south end close to the office.
Cemetery records have a Mrs Elizabeth Nicks in Block 13 Lot 36 space 1 next to Thomas Nicks. Do you know who is buried there if Elizabeth is not?
I can do some further checking at the Cem office to see if they have any additional info.
|Jeremy & Roberta F.||Charles and Mary Harper|
I did a search today and found that you had posted pictures of my Great Uncle Charles Harper and his wife Mary Harper's headstones. They are buried at Mountain View Cemetery in LaCenter WA. I just want to thank you for posting these, as I haven't had a chance to make it down there and it was really nice to see their final place of rest.

THANK YOU so very much, Jeff, for taking the time to provide the wonderful marker photos at Northwood Park Cemetery! We will take good care of the memorial you so graciously created for Aunt Oppy.

I had another volunteer reply to that same request not long ago and told me the same thing. I'm looking for better information and will repost.
