Bio and Links
Bio Photo Geneology and my love of photography are joined together in documenting and connecting families here and past. My brother helps clean up old and unvisited cemeteries in Montague county where I was born. My sister and I are continuing the geneology started by our mother tracing the family of: ALIG, BASS, BAYER, BEHL, BEST, BEYER, CLER, EISENMENGER, FETSCH, FLUSCHE, GILLES, KLEISS, HOENIG, HARTMAN, HAUSMANN, HETTINGER, KAPPES, KOELZER, KOBLITZ, NEU, NEWMAN, OTTO, ROEDER, RUND, SCHAFER, SCHWEIGHART, SOMMERS, VOGEL, WALTERSCHEID, and their descendents.
If you can identify any of the unknown stones in Indiana, please let me know.

Donnalita Cooksey #80696067 links
Hello J Vogel,
I have sent you a correction for Donnalita Cooksey #80696067 which may require an explanation. You have her linked to Benjamin Cooksey #51213210 as her father but I have just photographed her parents' stone in Seagraves Cemetery. They are Ben Duke Cooksey #151089266 and Ray Fields Cooksey #151089241. The confusion is understandable since they came from Oklahoma where the incorrect Benjamin is buried but the 1920-1940 census shows them to be a family along with Donnalita's brother Buford.
If you have questions about all this, contact me.
Thanks.
Best regards, Kay Marshall

F.M. Carthen
I'm looking for additional information on F.M. Carthen from Gainseville. I'm seeing some information that could indicate a name change from Cothran to Carthen when he moved to Texas.

Do you have any information that would support this?

Media Hale Memorial# 42436332
Media H. Quick, b Boone County, IN 7 Apr 1894, dau of Jacob D. and Emma, m Herbert Hale b Boone County, IN, 4 March 1888, son of Harvey and Jennie Padget Hale; marriage in Boone County Indiana 6 Dec 1910. Source: Indiana Marriages, 1811-2007, familsearch.org (Image). https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:XXKJ-QD9

On 31 Dec 1932 this same Herbert Hale married Mary Susan Hornbaker Hopkins. His second marriage, her third. On their marriage record https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:XXL9-F13 (Image) he states that his first wife died 10 Jan 1931.

Therefore, Media and Mary Susan are two different spouses. George Herbert Hale is a widower again in 1940, which suggests Mary died sometime 1933-1940.

James Fish/Bert/Ernie
I am not exactly sure who/what they were to the man. There is no family listed in his obit with those names.
The slab sits in front of his stone so I added them to his memorial.

I think this is Heinrich and Anna Maria's oldest son. He's in the Lindsay cemetery

Frillman Obits
Can I ask why you took the obits, which I posted, from IllinoisAncestors.org and posted them on my grandparents memorials?
