Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am a 77.5yr old who spends many hours a day on the computer. I research as many Chapman's as possible, especialy those who have been in the military. My father spent 31yrs in the Army Air Corps and U.S. Air Force. I too served in the Air Force from 1957-1960, at Hickam A.F. Base in Hawaii.
Much of my free time I spend as a member of the Moose fraternity, at the Anaheim, Buena Park, Garden Grove and La Habra Lodges. Have been a Governor, District President and Past President of the Legion.
I retired from the City of Anaheim after 30yrs in the Parks Department

Hi Leonard
I had all the information that you kindly sent me for a correction to my Grandfather's memorial. I have been busy doing other genealogy work and had not added some of the specifics.
What is your CHAPMAN line. We are probably related. We have traced back our line to Edward Chapman (1612-1678) and Mary Symonds (1621-1658). Then to Nathaniel Sr. Jr. and Nathaniel III & brother Nathan Both lines go to the CURTIS surname and to HC Pickwick MD.

Hi Leonard,

As I was going thru my Demersville memorial pages I created, I just now saw your additional information on Leonard Chapman that you posted back in 2010. I wish you had requested his transfer back in 2010, which I would have gladly done. So, I have transferred his memorial over to you to take care of. I can't think of anyone who could do a better job at it then you!! I am not related to anyone in the Demersville or Conrad cemeteries so if there are any more of your relatives, even cousins, please let me know. I will be more than happy to transfer them to you.

RE: The Burt Families?
Hi,Leonard! I'm always working on something, but nothing new on the Burts. I did the DNA test through, hoping to find a Burt match, but nothing so far. Hope you are well!

Leonard, do you want me to transfer her over to your care? Or do you just want to add to her bio?
