Bio and Links
Bio Photo After discovering Find A Grave, I've become hooked. It's so true: "you can't do just one."

If you have any corrections, links or additions, let me know through the "edit" tab which is on the top right of the memorial page. I try to be perfect, but so far....:o( If you send me a suggestion or correction for a memorial please provide some documentation or other evidence to support it.

Please feel free to use any of my cemetery or headstone photos for whatever purpose.
Most importantly...have fun!
TRANSFERRING Management: To be fair to all, I follow Find-A-Grave's guidelines.
"Transfer requests should be for direct relatives within four generations. This would be your siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren."

Just use the "edit" tab and let me know how you are related and your FAG contributor number.
RESEARCHING: I am looking for parents and/or siblings of Austin Goodwin Broton [aka Broughton, Brotton, Button, Brayton] (1856-1946). He's my great grandfather and a bit of a mystery. His mother may have been a Goodwin, born in Scotland and died in New York about 1870...we think. His father's first name may have been Bernard.

Not sure where you found the info about his marriage to Ellen Rush? And if so, do you have more info on her? I can't find anything other than the previous info I found on his funeral. Are you sure he was married? His tombstone was put there by his brother in his brother's plot. Puzzled as to why it doesn't mention husband on his headstone?

Re: Andrew Randall
Phyllis --
Transfer is done. Thank you so much -- I'm so focused on my research that I KNOW you'll be a much more attentive manager than I. And, Andrew is such a historical California pioneer in quite the historical cemetery, that he deserves more attention than I've given him.

Re: Andrew Randall
Phyllis --
GREAT newspaper excepts that you sent along to me. Now, I have no relationship to Andrew and I added him because his history was SO interesting (notice I didn't add any of it to his bio -- shame on me..) because his brother is George Perry Randall. I added and manage George and his family's memorials because they were Dayton NV pioneer settlers, and I am researching all pioneers and those interred in our cemetery for our Dayton Historical Society.

Are you interested in managing Andrew's memorial? I'll gladly transfer him to you.
