I've been a member of FAG for just over five years, and have enjoyed the information provided here and appreciate the hours of effort put into this site by its managers and its many contributors. As an ameteur genealogist, I have found FAG an unbelievable resource to all of us chasing family history. I invite anyone who finds anything useful on my sites, including photos or other information I have added, to please use any of it, if it provides benefit to your research. I would appreciate acknowledgement that the information used came from my site. I solicit your input and suggestions on any of my sites.|

Minnie Terrell (1874-1966) - Milton Cemetery - requested on 01/23/2015
The following site has a listing of many cemeteries in Cabell County WV including Milton. http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~wvcccfhr/index.htm
Webmaster indicates that they have photos of all headstones and can provide.
I'd suggest checking the website first then contacting the webmaster.
If this doesn't yield results, post another request indicating such and we'll take a drive out and walk the cemetery.
Husband of Minnie is listed in section B plot 49.Minnie is not listed.

You're welcome. I pass by the cemetery often but usually don't have time to stop in, like I did yesterday.

You're welcome. I don't know where you are, but it was only 80 degrees here today so I took advantage of the great weather to take photos.

Dear Mr. Terrell,
Sadly, no, there is no headstone. According to a reference book at the library, this is where he is interred. It is an open space near his wife, Lucy Mason. The stones in the background are the next row. Let me know how I can be of further assistance.

There are single burials in that section and I saw no marker for Bell.

Certainly! The inscription was difficult to read in person, and even more so in the close-up photo, because it was engraved but not tinted. It says: "Richard W. Gale, 1826-1891" (which is information that you already have) and under that: "In Christ shall all be made alive".
|Mary Ann Loss||RE: Craton Stephens, Jr.|
Hi Don, Yes, Elsie is buried beside Craton, but because another person had claimed her, I did not post the photo. If the other photo does not get posted within the 2-week window, I will do so as I did take a picture of her headstone. Does that help? MA
|Mary Ann Loss||RE: Craton Stephens|
Any chance you've asked the memorial's creator to add that information to the memorial? Just a thought. MA

Montlawn is a huge cemetery. As you are requesting a photograph of a grave marker, please contact the cemetery at (919) 772-1073, find out the plot information and add it to the memorial page. Thanks, MA
|Paul Clary||RE: Joseph Edgar Terrell|
You are certainly welcome for the photo of Joseph Terrell's marker. I'm not sure whether it is important for you, but I also posted all the other nearby Terrell markers in Dock's Creek Cemetery. I usually try to post all the markers in any given family plot.
