RE: Denney Cemetery According to records there are only 2 burials there. It is located on a private farm. According to county map, go north from Hwy 50 on W Hwy to 300 Rd and at the T go left to 325 R. I am not sure whether there is a farm close to that intersection, but if so I would guess the cemetery would be on their land.
W M Denney Hi! Kayla (Winn) Snyder here, just checking on the memorial # 63951578. It is difficult to read on line, you must have had difficulty too. I am curious about the last "2" digits re: birth ???. 12. Are these the last two digits in the year? I am assuming so, but would like confirmation. Jourdan Denney & Mary Polly Gibson had a son named William. He was born in 1850 in North Carolina. They moved to Missouri sometime after his birth. I have not found his death, his mother died in 1856 & is buried, I think' in the Denney Cemetery. Would this be the family farm at that time? Son, William does not appear to be there. According to Find A Grave, there are only two Denney's buried at the Denney Cemetery. Just trying to solve this puzzle.
