When my daughter was born in 1980 I filled in my first family tree in her baby book. I was kind of surprise how little I knew about my grandparents. From that day forward I have been working on our family tree. Over the last 43 years I have grown our tree to over 30,000. I think Find a Grave is a wonderful source of information. Today, I found my Great Grandmother--another Find a Grave member just created her memorial a few months ago. I knew her when I was a little girl. I was a teenager when she died. I was sad she was gone, but wasn't into the details. It's nice to know where she ended up.
