Please feel free to use any of the photos we have taken or added. None of us has all of the old family photos and it is wonderful to find a photo of an ancestor that someone else has.|

|Fran Warren||William Riley Smith|
William R. Smith was my great grandfather and settled in Fulton county with his family. His father was John W. Smith born about 1832 in Tn.
William married Sarah Jane Teague in Fulton co. Arkansas. I am wondering if your Smith family is kin to John W. Smith. I can not find where he is buried but I'd guess it is in the area of Fulton county.
My grandmother Martha Frances Smith married Henry Hoke and they settled in Jonesboro. You may know them. I have met some of the Smiths from this area who are kin.

|DJ Csikos||Thomas Leslie & his wife Eliza|
I am tracing Leslie family members and found Thomas who was born in Ohio...married Eliza Hopkins on 21 Jul 1844 and lived in Meigs County
they then moved to Wapallo IA (1860-1870) and then on to Kansas in the 1880 census. The children of this couple match the children of your Eliza Pancake.
Wondering is she was married before Thomas so there is a difference in names OR did I err in my following of the family group.
I have posted on FamilySearch the sources attached with the family. Can you help with the name difference?

I don't think "Missouri" spends much time on FindaGrave. She has not removed the photo. Wish there was some way I could remove it but there does not appear to be.

|Ron Garrison||Dexter W. Jones|
Thanks for the info and obit on Dexter W. Jones. It answered a nagging question that had puzzled me for several years. Could you tell me where you obtained the obit? The date and paper are identified but was it online?
Thanks again, it was very helpful
Would you like for me to transfer this to you since you are related?

Thank you for noticing the photo and that it does not belong on Alexander McClelland's memorial. I have put a note in the bio until the photo is taken down so no others post it as his photo. I will remove the remark when the photo is taken down.
