You are very welcome, glad I could help.

This John is the same as this find a grave site. How do you know his birth and death date if there is no headstone? Thanks
|Harold Byrd||John Harrison|
Hi Laura In looking at the families that you are researching it seems we have some common linage in the Harrison Cravens etc. I have a question about John. I take it there is no headstone. How is it that you know the dates of birth and death? Are there other sources for these dates? If so would you be willing to share them with me? Thanks Carol

Hi Laura, Thanks for your quick response. I do have a couple of questions. The same headstone is shown on findagrave for John, Samuel and Wealthy. It looks like a headstone for Wealthy. Can you shed any light on this? You also show an exact date of birth for John. That suggests to me that you had another source and didn't rely totally on the calculator. I'm going to make contact with the Whitley County Genealogy Society to see if I can proide me with a copy of the 1892 report on the cemetery and/or the 1960 reading. As for Loomis, do you have access to the two books written by Elias Loomis (history and then female branch) on the Loomis line. Great resources. Thanks again, Joella.

WOW! Hi Laura, I couldn't believe it when I stumbled onto the work you did on Summit Cemetery. I've been working on John Jones and Myra Andrews Jones for years and never been able to get any good birth and death locations and/or dates. You gave me both for John and Samuel. Can't possibly thank you enough. I'm also working on the Loomis line, mostly Solomon. Let me know if you think I can be of any help. Also, can you tell me where you got exact dates. Were you able to read on the head stones or do you have another source? Thanks so much. Joella.

Sorry this isn't a very good picture. There was about 2 feet of snow in the cemetery. Will try and get a better one when there is less snow.
|Wayne Seibert||Elizabeth Loe|
When I uploaded the photo I noticed that the dates on the stone shared by John and Elizabeth Loe were different from the memorial that John is linked to. 1852-1921 was too drastic a difference (1844-1871) to be the right memorial. I removed it and tried to check with your photo request to notify you but it was gone. I checked with the sexton and there is not a recorded grave for an Elizabeth with those dates.
