Thank you. Charlotte and Lemuel's daughter Henrietta married Warren E. Townsend, whose granddaughter Nettie May Townsend married Herbert Oatley....my wife's great grandfather. Her family is on Ancestry as well, under Oatley Family Tree owned by wtb095.

Gwen Dew memoirs
Gwen Dew's memoirs "My God, a Woman!" was published posthumously in 2007. It is 2 volumes long. Also her book "MacArthur's Japan" written at the end of WWII was published at the same time.
