Bio and Links
Bio Photo "We are who we are because they were who they were" (unknown). I have been interested in my family history for many years. After retiring from teaching, I have been able to pursue solving the mysteries and following the paths of those who have come before us. Burleighs, Burns, Bakers, Hastings, in Indiana and Cheney, Mason, McWilliams, Cram, and Lindseys in Iowa are our primary families. If I have added one of your family members, I will be happy to transfer it to you on request.

Five of us are in the process of updating our Library records as well as the Find A Grave listings in Morgan County, Indiana. If I request an edit for a memorial you have created, it is because we have found additional/or different information from what was originally recorded. If you are checking on family history, please check the pictures on the memorial as not all edits have been completed yet from our requests. The following cemeteries are completed:

If you are looking for family in these cemeteries, all remaining stones have been photographed and recorded. Five of us have gone over those locations multiple times and have been unable to find any stones that are not pictured on Find a Grave. Indiana does not permit probing without a permit so most of these have not been probed. We will continue to update this list as we complete the cemeteries.

PLEASE SEND ANY EDITS OR TRANSFER REQUESTS THROUGH THE EDIT TAB ON THE MEMORIAL YOU ARE EDITING/REQUESTING.

Permission is granted for any photographs you want to copy. They are your family and your memories.

~~KENNETH MAYES TRANSFER~~
Stone Seekers - thank you for the transfer, very kind and generous of you. I visited his grave in Martinsville, yesterday, and took pictures for a group of us that worked with him - we meet the first Tuesday of every month for a breakfast together, not many of us left. I thought he was buried in Morristown, Tennessee where he was from and thanks to you, we now know where his resting place is. Thank you for being a F.A.G. contributor.

RE: Christian Fogleson
One family member thinks that Maria Emily (Farr) Fogelson #107602792 was buried in Bethel cemetery but as far as I know, no one has found her death record. She was listed in the 1910 census, living in Clay, Morgan, IN.

RE: Christian Fogleson
I've written to both of the memorial managers. Hoping to get this resolved for Christian & also his wife Emily who also has 2 memorials. Headstone confirms the name is "Fogleson" not "Fogelson". Emily's headstone has yet to be found. Both her husbands are buried in Williams.

I wondered if there could be 2 headstones, but the other cemetery (Wilson Family) is very small with only 5 headstones photographed - all members of the Wilson family.

Christian Fogelson
Thank you so much for finding Christian Fogelson's headstone and for the great photos.

Christian has two Find A Grave records (the other one is 46115091 in Wilson Family cemetery). Maybe now the two records can be combined in the correct location.
