We have photographed every headstone in the Lunenburg Corner's Cemetery aka Village Cemetery in Lunenburg, Vermont. This cemetery is very old and neglected. Many stones cannot be read because of weather wearage, past attempts to repair them with cement and/or the stones being covered with moss. Many stones are broken and laying on the ground with some face down and embedded into the ground. We have posted every headstone that is legible on find a grave. There are about 40 headstones that cannot be read at all. If anyone finds any errors or they read the stone differently, please let us know and we will fix it. Also we are willing to transfer memorials of those who are NOT our ancestors. My ancestor's are Ball, Bowker, Hartshorn, Clark, Day.

Could you please correct the death age of Elijah Fisk, Memorial #61096912. You wrote 14 years & 7 months, and the headstone reads: 1 year & 7 months.

Just a quick message to let you know that the stones in that cemetery are being repaired! I have posted some new photos of the ones that have been worked on but will have more to upload in about a week or so as my camera died part way through. I spoke to the care taker today and he is the one repairing the stones (200 so far have been done) and he is going to send me a list of the names he has so if there are any unmarked graves I will add them in the near future.
Thank you for the work you have done. If we each do a small part we can help preserve our history for future generations.

I just wanted to thank you for the transfer of Infant Daughter Clark to me. It was a very lovely surprise to see this-and a nice gesture too!
Thank you very, VERY much!!!

Thank you so much for the transfer. It was a nice surprise, I'd forgotten all about the request!
|David Goodwin||photo you took a few years back|
I wanted to thank you again for the photo you took of Little David Goodwin's memorial marker. I know it has been a while, but this means a great deal to me. Your's is the only documentation, other than my grandmother's words, that verifies David's life. Thank you so much! He is my Grand Uncle.
Just wanted to say thanks for adding the record for Infant Clark (61354470)-this was a sibling of my 2nd Great Grandmother Mary Clark, who married Alanson Hartshorn in 1847. Thanks again!!!!
ETA-sorry about the first message. Posted before I typed any info in.

Thanks so much for photographing the gravestones in Lunenburg Cemetery. Thanks to your efforts I have found the grave of my husband's 5x great grandfather! Would you consider transferring his Find A Grave memorial (#61340877) to my care?
|Debra ||Hannah Storrs Lyman|
I see my typo, Hannah's dates are 1754 and 1831!
